I'm not sure how I feel about it.. my father's friend was hospitalized and comatose for a month. My father was sure that he'd die, but he lived, though is still in the hospital. And though I can't maintain a good relationship with my parents, I feel bad for my father with how much stress that caused him

If this vaccine is killing people, is it really a good idea to take this vaccine?

We do not live in a world where reverse transcriptase and horizontal gene transfer are unknown; they taught everyone reading this about them in high school biology class (most of you probably don't remember, and some of you may be old enough that they actually WERE unknown, or just theories, but the idea was out there, in common circulation). Viruses absorbing RNA information and mutating with it is where quite a bit of viral mutation comes from. And now, the very spike protein that made Covid such a contagious disease, is being potentially shared with the scores of trillions of viruses circulating throughout the bodies of over a billion people- and the call is for MORE. For EVERYONE to do this.

The H5N strain of bird flu has an IFR of over 60%. That's almost double the lethality of smallpox. SMALLPOX. A disease so dangerous that a massive human effort was undertaken, and now it's extinct in the wild- the only disease we've ever done that with (rinderpest is gone completely, but that was a cattle disease). The only reason bird flu isn't a threat to human society is because it's almost impossible for it to spread from human to human- it basically has to go through birds. But let one of it- just ONE- absorb that RNA, and you could have the beginnings of a civilization-destroying plague. What kind of disease could justify risking that? A slow-killing Ebola that shows no symptoms until it's too late? Some kind of super-AIDS? Surely something that threatens to kill us all, because that's the only way that that kind of risk- that kind of KNOWN risk, since there's no shortage of unknown elements- could possibly be accepted. It must be some unstoppable killer plague, right?

No. Covid. A disease less dangerous than chicken pox. And yet it convinced nearly every health organization to panic so completely that it redefined the very way deaths were counted- if you had TB and died of a heart attack, you were not counted as a TB death, even though it may have contributed. But if you tested positive for Covid, and then died of, say, a gunshot wound, or a car accident, you were recorded as a Covid death (here in the US, anyway). For this, we threw the doors open to a new FORM of technology on a massed scale, bypassing ALL but the most rudimentary safety tests and skipping animal testing completely. We have set the precedent that safety rules don't matter if you're scared enough.

It may turn out that the thousands of deaths attributed to the "vaccines" (a status they were only granted for legal reasons; in technical terms, they aren't) from VAERS alone may be due to other causes (I'll not be party to separate sets of rules for entities just because I agree with them); the hundreds of thousands of injuries may likewise be unrelated, or only tangentially so. But that's really only secondary; the risks being taken in other viruses mutating (you're a danger to every living thing vulnerable to viral infection until that mRNA degrades) and the precedent being set are probably going to mark this as the biggest medical mistake in human history.

However, I believe that the benefits of getting the COVID-19 vaccine outweigh its risks; there is no increased mortality rate among vaccinated people relative to unvaccinated people.
If you take 10 million people and just wave your hand back and forth over their upper arms, in the next two months you would expect to see about 4,000 heart attacks. About 4,000 strokes. Over 9,000 new diagnoses of cancer. And about 14,000 of that ten million will die, out of usual all-causes mortality. No one would notice. That’s how many people die and get sick anyway.

But if you took those ten million people and gave them a new vaccine instead, there’s a real danger that those heart attacks, cancer diagnoses, and deaths will be attributed to the vaccine. I mean, if you reach a large enough population, you are literally going to have cases where someone gets the vaccine and drops dead the next day (just as they would have if they *didn’t* get the vaccine). It could prove difficult to convince that person’s friends and relatives of that lack of connection, though. Post hoc ergo propter hoc is one of the most powerful fallacies of human logic, and we’re not going to get rid of it any time soon

I believe the virus is real but I think it’s man made and other countries like the US know this in my opinion. Americas government and agencies lied about 9/11 and went after Saudi men for bringing down the world trade centres in New York. All the US has to do is continue printing money like it always has and giving stimulus cheques for people to keep their yapper shut. Im not sure why everybody is afraid of contracting it, but will put it in their body voluntarily.

A vaccine is when you microdotte yourself with an illness so your body becomes immune.

I could do that by just being in public with somebody who has it.

I could go as far as slicing open my arm and having somebody infected, sneeze on it, so my white blood cells are directly exposed to it. (That's how the Native Americans learned to battle small pox, by the way!!)

We didn't react that crazy about H1N1, about the Ebola outbreak, or about the Swine flu. And when it comes to STDs, it's not Legal in select states, to have sex with somebody who ISN'T infected, WITHOUT THEM BEING TO KNOWLEDGE!!

If ANYTHING, people with THOSE diseases, that literally do shut down your immune systems and cause MORE premature death than COVID-19, should be quarantined BEFORE somebody with a sneeze, even if it is their allergies, should ever be looked at crazy!

All vaccines cause a certain percentage of side effects, from mild, to serious to fatal.

The idea behind a good vaccine is that it is less dangerous to take it than not to take it and potentially contract the disease it is designed to protect you against.

You are right to be skeptical. A massive amount of government misinformation and conflicting "science" has been reported by government agencies and politics seems to have replaced science.

The question isn't whether the vaccine is 100% safe. It isn't. No vaccine is. The question is whether you are better off taking it than not taking it.

For most adults who don't have certain contraindicating conditions I believe the answer is yes, they are better off taking it. Sadly, some relatively small percentage will have serious side effect and some will even die.

For younger people, at least people 18 and under, I think there is evidence that the answer may be that it is better not to take it at this time as there is some evidence it is riskier to take it than not. That may or may not change as they study it more.

I was nervous about it too because like any vaccine there are risk. But can you image how many more people would have died from covid-19 if people didn't get vaccinated to create herd immunity?

I just got my first shot on Monday. Was fine the first day but today my arm hurts, body aches and feel very weak. I just slept through it. I would make sure you have a couple of free days before you get it. If you get it. But I honestly believe the vaccine is safer than taking your chances with covid-19.

People are out there saying we don't know the long term consequences when side effects on pretty much every vaccine have shown up within weeks.

Here are the facts:
1. Vaccines usually take 5-10 years until they get seen as safe enough to be brought to the public. With new vaccines its closer to 10 while the 5 years usually only happen with yearly vaccines such as the flu one.
2. mRNA vaccines are new. This is the first ever vaccine like this.
3. Many governments clearly stated it in their documents that this vaccine is only temporary allowed as there is no final conclusion to the long-term effects - since it simply is impossible to know.

I think the Vaccine should be mandatory the same way Smallpox vaccine was mandatory when they came out with that. Both my mother and step-father caught Covid and it nearly killed them. I caught Covid twice, and was sick for two weeks both times. I think the risk is far greater than the benefits on all of these vaccines, the US safety data in VAERS is demonstrably being throttled. Either maliciously or because they are just overwhelmed with the data. The disease itself has multiple effective treatments and you got a 99% chance of not getting it severe. So its an over 99% chance of not having any issues with the real one.

However, we still have serious long term concerns that nobody can currently know, with some predictions based on prior lab experiments being very grim. If this goes wrong it can be mass death or mass injury once a wild corona virus comes around again (Currently its mostly just the vaccine symptoms being detected by the tests).

And in past attempts with this type of vaccine the result was always mass death in the test subjects after a while but not initially, would you really want to gamble that they got it right this time if the trials needed to demonstrate that aren't finished yet?

Chances of death by Covid = high. You can survive with lots of health problems.
Chances of death by vaccine = low. You may experience variable levels of discomfort or low level symptoms such as fever and vomits. In very extreme cases you may develop a more complex reaction and need to be hospitalized. From those cases, a very low percentage may end in death.
The vaccine is not perfect, but it is way better than the alternative. In any case, it is safer than many common medicaments that none has any problem with.

I had the Pfizer vaccines in March/April. I had only very mild side affects and I am a senior citizen with multiple medical conditions. If you don't get the vaccine you have a one chance in 550 of dying from COVID 19. If you do get the vaccine you have a one chance in a million of dying from that. The numbers are quite clear. I always go with the better odds. It's like when I got cancer. My neighbor was very upset when I told her I was getting chemo. I have had my furst shot. Everyone in my close family and friends unit has had their first shot and some have had their second. It caused no reaction for anyone except for a sore arm. I had a bit of a headache that came and went for the first day and second day but that might have been partially induced by stressing over other things in general. Just had my second does of the AZ vaccine last Saturday and besides a little tenderness at the jab site I’ve had no side effects, aside from the needle being longer than for a Flu jab there no difference.

It could be that your father's friend was susceptible or allergic to a part of the buffer in the vaccine he was given, unfortunately these things happen.

Honestly I'm not to sure. As I feel like it has been rushed.(bear in mind I do know the urgency for it) They haven't tested the long term side effects yet. A typical vaccine takes minimum 7 years to test and develop properly. But also here in Aus they have made it so that if something happens as a result of the have you CANNOT sue the pharmaceutical company or the government. Apparently cases like that are extremely rare. But when I was getting mine, I was worried about possible side effects as well and the nurse giving it to me told me that any of these (possible) reactions are true with any vaccine you get, even the one for the flu, and lots of people get that. There are more people dying from Covid than dying from the vaccine. People had been wanting this pandemic to end but now that vaccines are out, they're just gonna be narrow minded about it. So I guess they'd rather die due to Covid than die due to the vaccine. Of course people will always address who dies from the vaccine but no one likes to share "My father had a vaccine and it turned out he's immune to covid" because that's not really an interesting topic.

It's still in beta. I am happy others are taking it, but long term effects are unknown and short term complications are worse than advertised.

Any and all vaccines carry a risk. But even larger than that risk is protecting the population as a whole and eradicating a lot of deadly stuff.

I wouldn't recommend it for anyone under 50. We don't know enough about them yet. Long term studies are still in process of being conducted. And given the survival rate for untreated people under 50 from Covid-19; you are better off taking your chances with the virus and seeking medical treatment if you end up getting it.

Anyone dumb enough to get the covid vaccine (genetically modified snake oil) will have to reap the consequences if they die or end up with some incurable autoimmune disease, or end up sterile. It might be a good thing that millions of people won't be able to reproduce after having the vaccine. People who are that dumb shouldn't be allowed to procreate.

It's a low risk. But you are more likely going to be killed by a vending machine than the vaccine killing you.

On the other hand, you have 30% chance to be crippled permanently if you get Covid, symptoms or no.
