I think it's normal why everyone is skeptical since the only evidence we have yet of long term side effects would be from health professionals since they got the vaccine first. I mean, it is a vaccine and this is literally what pretty much most of the science world has worked on finding and in the past most of us got vaccines as children such as the chicken pox vaccine back when the pox was an infectious disease and there were not any long term side effects from the vaccine specifically. Pretty much the way I see it is if you know you are not allergic to anything they put in the vaccine why not get it? I'm planning on getting my first shot tomorrow and obviously side effects will be different for each person but these vaccines have been proven time and time again scientifically to protect people from viruses or at least significantly reduce your chances of getting the specific virus which is why scientists dedicate their entire life to the vaccine since they know vaccines help prevent or reduce deadly diseases and help increase the general health and lifespan of humans significantly ever since the 21st century.

My opinion on the vaccine is that it might not be safe to take it. Because of it being a novel vaccine, we truly don't know how safe it really is or the potential long-term effects it might have. This means that people that take it are essentially lab rats. Even though most every source says the vaccines are safe, such is still debatable. For example, the legendary baseball player Hank Aaron attempted to get Black people to take the vaccine to show it was safe, but two weeks after taking it, he dropped dead. Most news sources tried to say he died of "natural causes," but natural causes don't mean a person just dies naturally for no reason. They never mention his cause of death. I don't trust them. In addition, on a more personal level, I have a great aunt that recently took the vaccine. I tried to convince her not to, but she insisted on it, saying she was old and that old people are the most vulnerable to coronavirus.
Despite her being in her 60s, she has mostly been upbeat and pretty healthy. However, not too long after taking the vaccine, she was hospitalized. The doctors tried to assure us that the vaccine didn't cause her health problems, but they couldn't explain what exactly caused it. This leads me to believe that this vaccine isn't safe for everybody as people make it out to be and that the medical industry tries to cover up negative experiences with it by rationalizing it as "it's easier to get health problems at this age" or "he died of natural causes," all without explaining those health problems or natural causes. People don't know the true effects of what this vaccine could do to people, especially within certain groups, and I don't want to be the lab rat to help them find out. For these reasons alone, I won't ever be taking the vaccine. Sure, I have no problem wearing my mask and social distancing, but I'm not having this unknown substance be injected in my system.
I'm skeptical. Here's some interesting reading material

I am really skeptical at how people can just jump on board to something that hasn't been in trials for long. I've worked in clinical trial labs and a lot of tests, especially critical ones take at least 3 years. I can understand older people and immune compromised taking it because it affects them more but I honestly hope I'm wrong and it isn't that bad.
I might get some backlash for it but I will speak my opinion, the vaccine is just as fake as the virus itself.
Now I'm not saying covid doesn't "exist" it definitely does but it's not the giant death sentence that ended up locking the entire world they made it out to be.
Ebola was a deadly virus, get that you'll bleed out of your eyes and die yet during that outbreak the world kept going as if it wasn't happening, now we can argue for hours about how contagious it and the details but fact of the matter is the world could have kept going normally with covid the death rates did not rise worldwide during 2020 proving that those who dided of covid where just as likely to die from a thousand other thing during that year as is the case all the time, people die people are born life continues.
What happened was we all saw how the authorities in Wuhan were keeping people indoors with automatic weapons and thought that this was some zombie apocalypse failing to understand that the Chinese government not something to be taken as a standard when it comes to inforcing low, these people have a death penalty if you sell weed on a corner they are extreme in that regard.
So the vaccine came as just a thing to convince the masses that covid is over to justify closing down all that they closed down. Instead of coming out saying "sorry guys we thought it was dangerous it wasn't 😅" because that would vause an uproar worldwide they came up with these vaccines that could contain water for all we know and after spreading them they will say "ok you are now immuned go back to normal, it's not 100% so maybe we get a few cases later but the mass public is safe"
So as far as taking one I won't if I can help it but if it becomes mandatory I'll do it it's no big deal just as long as I can get a normal life back while in my 20's

People under 20 years old who actually contract the virus and receive zero treatment have a 0.002% chance of dying. That's 5x less than dying in an auto accident.
But there are very effective drugs for treating severe symptoms. Therefore the chances of death are much smaller if treatment is administered.
The vaccine doesn't prevent a person from contracting or transferring the virus.
The vaccine has not been approved by the FDA and has only been approved for emergency clinical trials. So, when a person gets the vaccine, they have voluntarily agreed to be a test subject and to be monitored for two years.
Most people who get the vaccine have adverse reactions, and those reactions can be very severe, resulting in a number of issues, including temporary paralysis, Bell's Palsy, anaphylaxis, organ damage, and even death.
The vaccine causes miscarriages and almost certainly causes infertility. So don't take it if you ever want to have children.
Once vaccinated, a person has a good chance of reacting very severely if exposed to a wild virus. Their body can spiral into a cytokine storm and death.
There are other scary downsides to the vaccine that I won't try going into.
Why take a chance?I think Covid and the vaccine has brought out the best and the worst of us.
First line responders and care givers around the world have been amazing.
then you have the anti everything brigade, blaming 5G signals etc.
on a positive not the vaccine has been a major achievement.
the amount of either fake new or misreporting at even governmental levels is unreal.
for example the latest blood clot issue with Astra V. The Pfizer one actually results in more (but still ridiculously low) and that the female contraceptive pill results in a vastly higher number.
the amount of dna research, is amazing, the UK has probably the most advanced surveillance setup in the world for the DNA side of things.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/2020/12/23/us-leads-world-coronavirus-cases-ranks-43rd-sequencing-check-variants/
it’s also amazing how people are willing to accept others dying in huge numbers, of hospitals failing.
when people find they can’t travel, go to theatre, pub etc without the vaccine, they will change their mind.Depends on the vaccine but a lot of them aren't safe. Especially Pfizer and Moderna can cause auto immune diseases and could proof fatal during the next round of corona.
But rather than explaining it myself ill link the video of an expert i trust. Half of it is german since its for a german audience, but the same things are discussed in English. So you can just skip over the german parts and get a good understanding of her concerns.

For more information about her background you can check her university profile here : https://people.ucd.ie/dolores.cahillI'm pretty against it right now. As you said, it came out so quickly and people are so desperate to get back to a normal life that they'll put anything in their bodies. I just heard about a woman I know who was seven months pregnant and got the vaccine to feel safer about her health and the baby's. The vaccine killed the baby today, who was otherwise healthy before its mother got the vaccine. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want something in my body that might possibly hurt me or give me any long-lasting symptoms.
Personally, I'd be fine without it until I absolutely have to get it by law. My immune system is the strongest it's ever been, I haven't gotten sick in over 3 years and haven't had a flu shot since I was 11. I think I'll be okay. But it's up to you whether or not you'd like to get it.Read "Scenarios for the Future" 2010 edition by the Rockefellar foundation and come to your own conclusions.
For the non-skeptics numerous doctors, scholars, health care workers, etc are finding interesting reactions within those who have tested positive and/or were exposed to the virus. The various infection fighting immune cells used against the virus are actually combatting with the vaccine instead of working together.
I encourage you to do your own research and follow what you feel is best. The amount of pressure being put on the vaccine is incredible and that's coming from both sides of the fence. Ask yourself if your collective findings and beliefs have more pros or cons? Best of luck.I got the Moderna vaccine. I haven't had any problems. Since most of the people I know in real life are older than me, most of them have gotten the vaccine. I have not heard of anyone having a problem. The very worst I've heard about is feeling kinda tired.
Some people have felt like crap for a few days, but not anyone I know. Keep in mind that the purpose of the vaccine is to cause a reaction in your body. You body will fight it, and you may get some symptoms associated with that. The symptoms are a sign that your body is doing what it's supposed to do.
The vaccine does NOT give you a mild case of Covid-19. It's not even possible to get Covid-19 from the vaccine. It just causes a reaction in the body which gives it the ability to fight Covid. It didn't "come out quickly". The worlds labs practically dropped everything and worked on it alone.
Thus it shows that world collaboration on a "common enemy" is possible and can make big things happen. As for vaccines - they are mostly all the same, it's just their payload and envelope that is different. Hence it's not like they started from 0%. They actually started from around 70%
Thus the "testing" was more on the envelop and payload being effective enough. The rest has been around for decades and used in other vaccines.Which one? :) They all seem to be reasonably safe; millions of people have been vaccinated, mostly older people, and deaths haven't spiked. It's certainly not as dangerous as the virus itself, otherwise half a million Americans more would have died in the last few months!
There is some concern over blood clotting with one of them, but that's not even a one in a million chance, nearer one in two million; five cases and one fatality in the UK, iirc, and new advice allows people to spot the symptoms and receive effective treatment.I've had both vaccinations, with nothing more than a little soreness at the injection sites. The vaccines protect you from getting Covid by about 95%. If you do get Covid, after the second injection, then the case is relatively mild, and almost no chance of it being severe enough to be hospitalized. These are medical and scientific, facts, not opinion.
I don’t tell folks to get it or not get it. But I’m not getting it. It hasn’t been approved by the FDA (only EUA status- emergency use authorization). The virus has a 99.2% survival rate per the CDC now. Also, these new mRNA vaccines do not prevent you from acquiring and transmitting the virus, only supposedly keep you from getting sick from it. So why bother if you are healthy? No one knows what the long term effects from taking mRNA vaccines are. If you are elderly and/or have high risk health factors, I might consider it.
It is a risk to take it. That much is certain. Especially given that we do not know the long term effects of the vaccine. However, for the time being it seems as though it can be said to be a logical option. I personally will not accept the vaccine into my body and I will accept the criticism and ridicule that comes along with it. I decline the vaccine out of fear of the unknown. Especially given my history of severe life threatening reactions to other vaccines. You asked for the public’s opinion. You got it.
Here's a little knowledge I'd like to drop. The virus name of covid19 is SARS-COV-2. So named due to its amino acid similarity to the first SARS. Many scientists and physicians have been working on a vaccine since the first SARS and MERS emerged. Since both of these viruses died out, the immediate need to produce a vaccine was pushed aside. There were other viruses and diseases that poised a threat. However, many scientists still worked behind the scenes to create a vaccine just in case. The technology existed since 2015, there just wasn't an immediate need to do so until 2020. Keep in mind I'm not telling anyone to get the vaccine or not, but the term "warp speed" is slightly misleading.
All legitimate authentic data (i. e not fake news) point towards the vaccine being (1) extremely helpful in reducing and practically nullifying all Covid-19 symptoms, and (2) perfectly safe with very little (and rare) short/long term side effects. Whatever risks scientists hypothesize might result from the vaccine - they are a hell of lot more minor than those of the actual virus.
You'll notice the anti-vaxxers have nothing but links to fake news and a cult narrative of "you're all sheep, we are smarter than science, hail the chosen few". It's really quite pathetic, not to mention irresponsible and cruel. Anyone who is allowed to get vaccinated - should. It protects you, your family and others in your environment!I mean I have to get it irregardless since my girlfriend lives overseas atm and I can't travel to see her unless I get it. Plus I want to propose to her soon and I can't exactly do that here. Anyways I am not an anti vaxxer. My family had polio in the past. Guess what's not a problem anymore thanks to vaccines; Polio.
As for me I’m not a fan of vaccines, pills or any shit like that & when it comes to the flu vaccine I haven’t had one in about 15 years. On the other hand over 20 of my coworkers got sick from COVID-19, one died & just recently I lost a good friend of mine. About a week ago I signed up for my first covid vaccine & this morning I got my first shot. Does it work, I have no idea. Do I trust it, not really however for right now it’s better than nothing.
Even the former head of Pfizer, Dr Mike Yeadon, says:
‘Entirely possible this will be used for massive-scale depopulation’
https://www.americasfrontlinedoctors.com/exclusive-former-pfizer-vp-to-aflds-entirely-possible-this-will-be-used-for-massive-scale-depopulation/There is no chance it could have been developed properly. It takes decades to develop a new vaccine.
Just remember Ebola, we had an epidemic in 2013/14, the vaccine for it already had 37 years of research behind it, yet they couldn't even finish it in those two years, but instead it arrived at the end of 2019, after 43 years total.
Here they allegedly went through the entire process in a few months. So either we made 100 years worth of progress in vaccine development literally overnight, or someone here us lying through their fucking teeth. If it doesn't give you any prons only cons why you do it? I rather inject my self with steroids at least they give something good between the many side effects.. this thing will only give you side effects.. plus probaly after some years will turn into cancer or something.. no thanks i trust steroids much more
Not getting one and I don't think I will. I don't have any of the comorbidities typically associated with the disease, and I'm in an age bracket with an essentially 100% survival rate. If I was older, I'd probably reconsider, but for now, I just don't see a compelling reason to take a rushed vaccine.
I'm a LOT skeptical. Even three years is a very short period in which to develop and test a new medicine, and this was done in about one-fifth of that? I don't buy a car the first year they come out either. If I were to get an injection, I would consider getting a pneumococcal shot to be more critical than a minimally-tested COVID shot.
