Here is how I equate it for you.
You are in a fancy restaurant with friends and family celebrating your grandmas 90th birthday. As a surprise, you have a cake delivered to the table for everyone to share. On his way out the waiter accidentally just sneezes all over this cake. I mean total coverage on this cake, but nothing visible.
Now the waiter could have turned his head to sneeze or put the cake down and used his sleeve to cover his nose, but he chose not to. Maybe he wanted to exercise his free will to sneeze wherever he pleases or maybe he was worried about the side effects of missing the right timing on the birthday cake surprise and he didn't have enough time to find out if his decision to stop would have long term effects. Point is, this cake gets delivered and nobody at the table is aware this guy sneezed on it.
So the slices start going out and some choose not to eat cake because of dietary reason, but most take it including grandma. Days later, people start getting sick, but you and others feel fine even after eating this snot cake. Grandma particularly is affected and gets further complications from it, ending up with pneumonia and eventually dying.
Now everyone is angry because Grandma didn't have to die, if only the waiter had taken a few precautions.
Meanwhile some jerk on the internet tries to deny the waiter is at fault at all because, he shouldn't be forced to turn his head, or it was only a small percentage of people who got sick and died and those are acceptable losses, or that it wasn't even his germs that killed her. She died from pneumonia so it doesn't count against the waiter. Besides, the rest of the people there had healthy immune systems so if theirs work then they shouldn't be worried about anyone else.
That's why it makes people upset. It is preventable stuff that we could all work on together even if you choose not to get vaccinated, but for the love of God, please stop politicizing the mask too. We have to send our children out there with people like that. That is scary.
1. The virus can only mutate while being in someone's body and y'all are spreading a lot more and the vaccine can be less effective to those variants
2. 3/4 of the people in the hospitals in my country are unvaccinated. The more people in the hospital, the more restrictions we get as a society which also affects the vaccinated.
3. Vaccines don't work 100%. I could still get covid and even though I probably don't end up in the hospital, I still don't like to get sick and damage my heart/brain or lungs.
4. Some people can't get the vaccine because they're immunocompromised or too young. They rely on groupimmunity. You moght think "oh but that's not a lot of people" but that's everyone with an organ transplant, cancer treatment and people with an autoimmune disease. 5% of the people in the hospital are immunocompromised, which is a lot compared to the general population. Many of the immunocompromised are too scared to leave the house because they know they're vulnerable, so that percentage would be higher if we didn't account for that.
5. A lot of unvaccinated people spread misinformation to their friends/family etc and don't let their children get vaccinated which will directly have impact on group immunity.
6. Vaccines work less on elderly people so even though they get vaccinated, they can still get sick and sometimes a fever or a cold can already be fatal.
In short, you contribute to the continuation of the spread by not vaccinating and therefore not helping society. That's why we are concerned.
The weak-minded mentality is to follow an authority that they blindly believe e. g. MSM, which spreads the fear, panic, and convinces these gullible ones that in order to fit in they must get the jab and that if you don’t you are theoretically spreading it or denying herd immunity. Well first off, if we did absolutely nothing at all, the herd immunity would have occurred last year and this would all be over by now. The true herd in this is the gullible that have fallen for the largest con and crime against humanity possibly ever. Most of us already have had Covid-19 (another bs term) and have the anti-bodies and are continuously subjected to ones that have it and continue on fine. Even though these people are in panic and are becoming irrational about shoving this jab on everyone, I am beginning to see an almost pathetic trend amongst them that they have nothing else to latch onto at this point but belong to the vaccinated group. They simple have been programmed that the un-vaccinated are evil, dirty, and ignorant and the smart high IQ ones get the jab; that is their logic. There absolutely is no basis for this irrational programmed behavior. They have swallowed the largest con in history; and it will someday be larger than the Nuremburg Trails. I totally understand why people are opposed to being told by a government "you have to do this!" especially when it is related to health. They have proven to me too often that they do not have the publics best interests at heart.
I also understand the nervousness at taking any new medication or vaccine, especially if there are known side affects. Any time a close family member is offered any to treat an illness I research the drug thorough - proper independent research papers before I way up the pros and cons and if we decide to take it - we keep it monitored constantly.
I don't listen to those in office and I don't listen to private pharmaceutical companies. I do listen to reputable medical professionals, as should everyone else before making an informed choice. Unfortunately their voices are hard to hear, as they are drowned out by the popularism constantly steaming into our brains via social media, published by people who you do not know and should trust even less.
If you listen to the advise of professionals, you would know that this op's question is invalid - vaccines only work when the majority of people take them - because otherwise the virus will continue to spread and mutate and become more deadly. At this point we have already seen it, the latest 'Delta variant' is more resilient to the vaccines and more deadly to younger people. I personally know two people, in there 40's to have died from this variant and they were very health with no illnesses.
We are in danger of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

It's ALL about power and subjugation. Especially since the vaccinated seem to be mostly left or extreme-left. Also, the vaccine (more likely than not) probably has a ton of extra hidden sh*t with it, like being registered on some database somewhere, where they can track you and know where you are at all times.
It's funny, cause they did the same thing with masks, even though masks only exist to keep you from putting COVID in your mouth or nose if you've got it on your hands. If they can get you to wear a mask, they can get you to do anything. Just like with the vaccine, the claim of it being "for safety" is bullsh*t. (I live in South Korea, where we've been doing masks before the US and longer than the US. We still have to wear them. It's not illegal to walk around without one, but 99.9% of people do it and you can't enter certain public places without one. Most people know masks would be pointless against an actual airborne virus, but the government controls people through mask peer pressure; they don't have to make going maskless illegal. The US is just more stubborn though, so more force is applied there, but it's the same concept.)
As @blank_expression already said, they get the weak-minded, stupid sheep of society to do it first, then have make them their Useful Idiots, to have them peer pressure and bully you into compliance.

However vaccinated people are not a breeding ground for virus and we won't get more variant... And pandemic will end..
But if all are not vaccinated... New variants will keep coming.. And if given time of 3-4 Years COVID will final develop such variants that are immune to vaccine..
And vaccines won't work against those variant..
And the pandemic will enter a critical stage.. Where 90-95% of human population might get wiped out...
Not vaccinating yourself is like giving a virus time to evolve into something that is unstoppable..
What is the point? The same as what is the point for literally everything that we hand over to authority to force us to "act right."
People will always support forcing others with guns and violence. They can kidnap you and lock you in a giant building full of other kidnapped and locked away people, for any reason that the majority sees fit.
People do not believe other people should be free to make their own choices. This is fundamental to nearly every person's beliefs on this planet.

I blame the state and country restrictions of scaring the people. The reason everyone is butting heads is because of the laws in each state and different countries by the health officials.
I’m in a state where masks mandates expired in may. So everyone has has free will and options if they want to take the vaccine or not. But my long distance friends in different countries have harsh laws where vaccinations are necessary.
I don’t want to lose my friendship cause of the laws they are going through with my belief and political views. With what is going on in my country/state.
It's far from being that simple? In order to get this Corona virus past us we need to develop here immunity which requires about 77% of people getting vaccinated. The problem with this epidemic as a political issue is that most of the" no govt is going to tell me what to do " mind set in this case is all the preventative measures that are being - in some cases- risking the health of other people. It's no different than 2nd hand smoke. Anyone who is not getting vaccinated because they don't want gumint making rules is endangering others with compromised immune systems since a mas doesn't really help keep the wearer healthy, it prevents COVID from getting passed to others. Americans have very little experience with compassion. When the market and all the overpriced assets collapse in price within the next couple of years we may eventually have the suffering required to develop compassion.

And half the population (including myself) already had the virus and recovered, and have natural immunity on par or better than any of the so-called experimental vaccines, which technically they are not.
Even for the delta variant, antibodies are present for at least a year against it that is equal to one vax shot. Two provides better immunity, and in conjunction with previous infection also provides superior protection.
The question is, will the clotting properties of the vax kill you before any reinfection of covid does. And while the delta may be more infectious, it's less deadly, much less than the original covid virus.
Frankly, I'll take my chances. My body, my choice.

The point is, there has to be a critical number of people being vaccinated in order to achieve herd immunity.
Every single one who refuses to get the shot or even worse spreads false information and persuades others to not take the shot, is putting everyone at risk.
Because the vaccine doesn't stop us from catching it & you're still able to kill people who are not as lucky as others. That's why. Unless you've ALREADY caught covid & survived, & you believe those covid antibodies are enough to keep you safe, get the fucking vaccine.

Well, I think it’s because a lot of false news about the vaccine has spread. People began to believe that the vaccine is more dangerous than the virus itself. Truth is, the virus KILLS while the vaccines actually protect u. In fact, studies are showing that 99 percent of deaths and more than 95 percent of hospitalizations due to covid are unvaccinated people. People are upset about anti vaxxers since they’re putting EVERYONE at risk. What is worse is that no matter how hard you try to convince an anti-vaxxer, they just won’t listen to you.
The more anti-vaxxers are there, the risker it is for everyone. If a certain amount of people are unvaccinated, then the virus will continue to mutate. If the virus mutates, some of the strains will become resistant to those who are vaccinated, therefore extending the pandemic for everyone!
The pandemic has already done a lot of damage, and the only sure fire way to end it is for the population to get vaccinated!!
Well, you don't really get herd immunity from vaccines unless almost everyone gets it.
The ironic part is the people most upset about anti-vaxxers are terrible at motivating people to get the vaccine.
Our institutions have said so much bullshit regarding the pandemic, so why should anyone trust them now? The masks and the vaccine were just a long virtue-signal for so many people.
Because they don't give a fuck about you or any one else who doesn't get the vaccine. Its a power trip, if it was about safety then they wouldn't care, but its not its about being RIGHT. They need to force every one to do as they do because if you don't and your fine then it means they where wrong and they can't handle that. The two easiest groups of people to control are those who are angry, and those who are scared. Being angry makes you want to take action, and keeps you from thinking clearly. Being scared wants you want to hunker down, and keeps you from thinking at all.
Remember those three sentences, and 98% of politics will suddenly become comprehensible.
Because there's a chance of anti vaxxers mutating the virus by allowing it to spread and potentially create a more stronger virus, rendering the current vaccine useless (which seems to happening, so thanks!).
If they are vaccinated they won't get Covid from those that don't so why should they care if someone else doesn't get it?
