Yeah I have depression and PTSD, which I’ve had so long that it’s more of an old friend, my own black dog.

Also worked as a volunteer at a counselling centre for a good number of years, it helps talking to others and puts yours own issue on perspective at times.

there is invariably some one worse off or had something seriously bad etc happen.

there are a few on here with various mental health issues, also some such as @Agape93 are really good to chat to if you have issues or questions.

it’s all fairly open here, just watch out for the blue Anon lemmings.

I definitely suffer from depression, I have probably since I was 15 or so, So 5 - 6 years now. I kinda have episodes of being really down about things and that's mainly caused by having time to think.
I'm not sure whether it's something that will go 1 day but I hope it does

Depression, anxiety, ptsd and stress induced psychosis.
For the longest time, I just sucked it up, and in the end it nearly killed me. The depression, anxiety and psychosis are medicated. The ptsd is not but I'm used to it at this point.

I have Asperger's' syndrome and not being aware of it my parents sent me to a psychiatric hospital as a teen that failed to give me a proper diagnosis but the experience left me completely traumatized. I could never open up to a therapist and was always hesitant to seek help for any issues I've had because of that experience. And when left untreated, that shit piles up and it's pretty much ruined my quality of life. I have pretty much no relationship with my parents for overstepping their bounds like that.

Depression and yes I think I have recovered from it but I want to say the key thing is to never give up and to always try to make your life better and make it how you want it to be! 😊
