Oh, no, the things you are experiencing COULDN'T be the result of drugs. (scarcasm)
Many or most doctors are nothing but drug pushers. They know nothing about nutrition or actual health. It's how they were trained and it's all they know. Plus, it makes money.
Years ago, I went to a guy who practiced naturopathic medicine. He was a doctor of chiropractic, ayurvedic and Chinese medicine. He knew about the human body, health, acupuncture, nutrition and herbs. The guy was amazing. A TRUE doctor.
I would see if you could get a brain scan and see a neurologist. Because it can give you a fuller picture of the mover all issue.
This could be a side effect but not brain damage. If your psychiatrist was to help you stop taking the meds, your sharpness should go back to normal. But make sure to not stop taking them suddenly. That can be dangerous. Those medicines have to be decreased little by little before they are stopped completely.
