Height/weight ratio is utterly useless for a genuine idea of health.

Rather find out your body fat percentage. BMI says every heavyweight boxer or wrestler is morbidly obese even if they're 2% body fat and completely ripped.

Similarly, a light skeletal system could give a false idea if being a "healthy" weight when the person is obviously overweight.

A good sports or health store would have the calipers to let you measure body fat, or scales with sensors can identify if you're carrying fat or water.

It depends but the shorter you are, the less you should weigh. I'm 5'8" and weight between 120 and 150, which is basically normal. 5'5" should probably then be anywhere between 110-120, but, that's not including muscle; That is only including body weight.

I'm that height and when I plugged the numbers into that formula I got 58.82 kg. Converted to lbs it rounds out to approx. 130 lbs. Damn I'm above that weight. But I'm still slim

If we want the BMI to be 18-25 range then:
BMI = Weight / (height × height)
Weight = BMI × (height × height)
5'5" is around 1.65m

Weight = 18 × 1.65 × 1.65
Weight = 49kg / 108lbs

Weight = 25 × 1.65 × 1.65
Weight ~ 68kg / 150lbs

If we want to take the median between these two then: 150 108 / 2 = 129lbs (BMI ~ 22.65)
And that would be the ideal weight

No idea on a scientific number. However, what makes you feel good about your body? To me visual factors cone into play, like breast and hip sizing. Wha’s important is that you are healthy.
