Pretty much.
Like don't get me wrong I was a personal trainer and I do understand that once you are at that point it's hard to get back into shape and in some cases it is due to medical reasons so if that is the case your exception ( but that's a minority ) so I do recognize that but it's really not that hard to stay in shape or at least stay moderately healthy.
Unless it's medically related which for like 95% of people it's not. There really isn't an excuse to let yourself go to such a degree that your 250+ pounds. Because for most people that's a conscious choice your making to be lazy to not workout to eat bad and put crap in your body every day. That's a choice and it's a choice you make.
For the vast majority of people, no, there is no valid excuse.
For a small minority that unfortunately have disabilities or real medical conditions, yes.

I don't agree. Sometimes people have medical issues or it can be genetic. But most of the time people who are heavy don't put in the effort to eat right and exercise
There are medications that can cause people to gain large amounts of weight. Medical issues as well. It’s not always choice, be it emotional or subconscious.
In the same sense that there's no excuse for breathing oxygen, sure.
No I don’t agree,
there are genetic and other reasons not excuses for being overweight
The other bit, try buying healthy foods on the poverty line.
You go to a food bank to feed a family of say 3 and get healthy food stuff.
Gyms are also free which is a bonus I guess
No some people who weren’t able to do to much exercising due to illness like a severely disabled respiratory system (like myself ) had to deal with childhood obesity because a great deal of their youth was spent doing oxygen therapy
Body type like stupidity has a genetic component. Certain medications can also cause weight gain and stupidity.
In most cases, but some people are bigger cause of genetics.
this is on a par with saying they should no alcoholics
