Do you sleep with a weighted blanket?

i sleep in a mess. Basically i dont even have a bed and I have some sheets i've collected and gathered and some old mattress covers. i pile them on top of me. I'm saving up money for a big move in like 6 or 7 months, plus i want a new, special type of bed that's going to cost thousands of dollars. Plus i have some long term investments coming up perhaps. So for now... i sleep in a mess.
Sounds like a nest lol
Yes indeed! My 6 year old purposely creates “nests” in my bed lol.
I do?
And my dreams are even more vivid.
So I want to try one, but I also feel like I'd wake up in the middle of the night and feel like I was dealing with sleep paralysis and start freaking out. So I've been hesitant to get one. I laid under one of my friends and after a couple minutes I could feel my anxiety starting to kick in. Smh. I'm weird lol.
It settles my anxiety.
I do, and I fuckin’ LOVE it! it’s like being full body hugged, but every night, not just the nights when his wife has the graveyard shift! (Kidding ’bout the last bit).
It’s the perfect kind of hug. It doesn’t move or snore or sweat. 😂
Yes, and it doesn’t poke you in the ass on the hour like clockwork! 🤣
True that! 🤣
😂 LOL

Nope.
Ironically because when I was 21 I once worked briefly in a linens warehouse and used to move boxes of these things all the time and they were a pain in the ass.
Also Im a lithe but big fucking guy, 10% of my body weight would probably be something like 25-35 lbs at this point.
No thanks, no interest.
I just cuddle my girls (doggies).
I don’t use weighted blankets except during vacations where the hotel blanket might be a little heavier than what I use at home but I considered buying myself a self heating lukewarm chemical warmer to help me sleep. Unlike lukewarm water, the lukewarm warmer relies on chemicals and not water to raise its own temperature but I don’t know if the raised temperature is permanent or what it’s called since my extended family purchased the product in China.
No. I have to sleep light an airy. I’m smokin’ hot most of the time.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
I’ve never tried one but would like to. I’m sure they’re very warm also! I always get cold at night.
Feels like a warm, cozy hug. 🥰
This is central Florida; I only put the top sheet on the bed this month. The light weight blanket will go on the bed next month and the bed spread in January. If it gets any colder I put on pajamas. By March I'll go back to the bottom sheet only.
I have one and it's a big comfort it feels really nice once used to it tho j wish it was heavier. As much as I followed the instructions o the weight I prefer. it. bejnf heavier.
It’s for safety. Too much heavier and you may not be able to throw it off in an emergency.
That's true but i still find it to light at timesm when I've slept in my desk chair the weight added due to it hanging over the sides. It just feels more. comforting like just being held by someone who cares. The one I have now is good and all tho
I've heard a mentor of mine talk about his wife and kids using it and how it induces a deep and satisfying night of sleep. I'd love to try one in the near future.
No, I use a light blanket actually. I don't sleep deeply because of the alcohol intake I have anyway. LOL
I hear ya. Lol. This helps tho!
I sleep with a down comforter because it's lightweight and warm. I like to move around under the covers.
I've tried one and didn't like it, kind of triggered my claustrophobia/cleithrophobia. I like a very light duvet or no duvet at all.
They are sometimes made with fiber glass and considered unsafe. I used one until I found that out
Well shoot. Why is that unsafe?
Well geez. Now I better look what mine was made out of..
It has micro glass beads. My research indicates that is safe and what most high end weighted blankets are made from. 🤷🏻♀️
Fair enough
I find it really comforting, but unfortunately, it’s too warm now.
Not here! Just right!
I have not, but I tend to get annoyed just if the covers get tangled or I have trouble moving in them, so I don't think adding weight would help.
I can barely stand to have a sheet on when I sleep let alone a weighted blanket.
I have one, but I haven't used it since last winter.
I've got a 20 lb one, wish I'd gotten heavier, but it's definitely nice
I've never had a weighted blanket. I just use regular blankets
I sometimes do, but only when my girlfriend isn't here
Mine is around 6-7 lbs and i only use it in winters but i get the best sleep when i use it
Doesn't appeal to me really but I am glad you like yours.
No i’d feel suffocated
Mine feels amazing.
I don't sleep with one but when it's cold & I'm in the recliner I use one to cover up with.
Nope never tried it, Im afraid Id feel trapped.
Don’t knock it till you try it
I have, it's fantastic.
Ikr? The best! I feel so rested!
My daughter has one and she loves it.
It’s pretty amazing.
So she says
No, I have a comforter that is heavy enough.
Naw, tbh didn't know they exist, cuhh
Yes I love it
It’s the best right? I feel so rested!
No, instead I sleep with 4.
