I have heard some pretty stupid reasons why people don't get vaccinated over the weeks. Like how if you are vaccinated you'll experience (as a woman) more periods & if an unvaccinated woman hugs the vaccinated woman they'll also get more periods (like come on, are such people in possession of a fully-functioning brain?)

A LACK of stupidity born of ignorance. Thalidomide, heroin, asbestos, DDT- there's no shortage of "cures" (medical or otherwise) rushed out too quickly without proper testing that backfired disastrously. That might be forgivable if we were talking about smallpox, but we're not- we're talking about a disease so mild that the vast majority of people who've had it fought it off asymptomatically. Risking antibody-dependent enhancement for a disease less dangerous than chicken pox is insane; risking other viruses reverse transcribing the spike protein mechanism that makes Covid so contagious is little short of a crime against humanity- if that spreads to TB, you've killed hundreds of thousands of people. If it spreads to bird flu, you may well have destroyed civilization. And horizontal gene transfer can take place at any point in the future, so long as those viruses are alive- it could even be centuries after you die.

And if you're not interested in hearing "bullshit about infringing on liberties", you have no business asking a question whose primary answer is "it's infringing on liberties". You're very opinionated... and buy what the media tells you. Have you investigated the disease and vaccine yourself? Many people have, and some choose not to get vaccinated.

One reason for not getting vaccinated is if you contracted and survived COVID-19. That gives a person natural immunity. And in that case, the vaccine can actually confuse the body's immune system.

Does it bother you that big pharma are making billions of dollars selling COVID vaccines and pills?

My reason's pretty lame. I didn't get vaccinated (until yesterday) because of my antivaxxer parents. I would have gotten the vaccination sooner but I cannot drive and public transport is basically nonexistent here. Plus, my mother is the one who keeps my medical records, which are required in order to get vaccinated. I only managed to get my hands on them because I stole them from her after rummaging through her belongings lol. I got vaccinated yesterday with a friend who is in the same situation :D

I have done extensive research and it is not as safe as you think. Have seen many expert doctors and so forth. Half is the poison which some got and the other is saline solution if you are lucky enough to get. It is new. FDA won't approve of it. I can get it sure I am pretty healthy but not sure yet. Um, your liberties end where mine begin. So my bodily automy trumps your right to not get sick (especially since no right even exists). As for why I am waiting for the long term study data. I do this with all medicines that I am considering taking. There has been plenty of drugs that had to be pulled off the shelves that went through the normal vetting process and had FDA approval before they found out how much they sucked. So I will wait until there is more data on a vaccine rushed to market with an approval from the FDA that seems to be more politically driven than scientifically driven. I have worked in drug testing, so I know how these things work.

The only two legitimate reasons I could think about is a) the vaccine they want is unavailable or b) compromised health to the point that it would do more harm then benefit.

That said, these vaccines are not tested as rigorously as others, so it is understandable why people are worried. And that's on the politicians.
