I had my period at nine and was around a B cup at 8. By ten it was like a D cup. It grew to a 28FF.

It is genetic. If you have close family members with big ones then you’ll probably also have big ones. You don’t say how slim you are. Are you very skinny? What are your other measurements?

(and i am 5'4)
my mom gained weight so i dont know what bra size she had but she was really skinny before gaining weight
and my family members from my mom's side have B-C cups and my dad has a sister she has G cups

When Salma Hayek was skinny her boobs looked like a B cup. Now she seems to have really big ones. Perhaps they’ll get bigger if you put on weight but there is no guarantee and it seems like you have a nice figure so I don’t think putting on weight will be worth it. Just wait it out and see how it is in a few years.

As several girls' have pointed out on GAG, cup size really has nothing to do with the SIZE of a woman's breasts. It has more to do with the relative difference in measurements between over the breast and under the breast.

As some of the GAG posters have said, it might be good for you to have someone check to size what cup size you really are. And, based on your age, your breasts are not yet fully developed.

It could be normal. What are your genetics like, does your mom, aunt's, cousins have small or big breasts. It could be you will have small breasts but some girls don't finish developing until their late teens.

I heard if you go to a Victoria's Secret they are either really good at telling you or have some device to measure. I don't actually know, being a guy, but I remember my ex went there and she thought she was a B cup and found out she was a D, even though she has what to all appearances are smaller sized breasts.

@zeitgeist057 Victoria's Secret is probably the worst place to get measured! Getting measured is a bad idea full stop, because too many places do it wrong. The best way is to just do it yourself, anybody can use a measuring tape and if you do it yourself you don't have to worry about something putting you in the wrong size just to make a sale!

The experience my ex had was she said, “I’ve never had a better fitting bra, I was wearing the wrong size this whole time!”.

So perhaps not EVERY Victoria’s Secret does it wrong, and out there at least one person knows what they are doing?

I think that was the feeling she had about all her previous bras, she didn't realize how uncomfortable they were until she wore the D.

But it seems like a pretty simple process that you said one can do by themselves with a tape measure, the important part is doing the measuring correctly and then using that online calculator. I don't get why a person in retail specializing in breast products would try to sell you a size that doesn't fit, when they have bras in various sizes, so they can sell you the right size and make a sale just as easily as selling you the wrong size.

The size range we see most commonly in stores - A to DD in cup sizes, and 32-40 in band sizes, is VERY narrow. 32 isn't a very small band size, it's small-medium. There are hundreds of thousands of women who need band sizes of 30, 28, 26 and 24, yet very few stores sell these. DD also isn't a very big cup size. It varies depending on band size (so 26DD, roughly Ariana Grande's size, is small) but even on larger band sizes, DD isn't as big as people think. So, likewise, there are hundreds of thousands of women who need cup sizes of E, F, FF, G, GG, H, HH, J, JJ and so on - yet most stores only go up to DD.

34C isn't a common size. Most of the women who wear 34C actually need sizes like 30F (a much more common size), but very few stores sell this, so they just put them in 34C. Similarly, 32A is a rare size. Most of the women who wear 32A actually need sizes like 28DD, but very few stores sell 28DD, so these women get put in 32A. 34DD is a common-ish size -when correctly fitted - but yet most people wearing it are incorrectly fitted, and need sizes like 30G, a much more common size, but much harder to find. There is a huge disconnect between the sizes people most commonly NEED, and the sizes that are most commonly SOLD.
