I didn't use the calculator you posted, but I have read bell curves for height. For a male I am in the top 20% at 6'.

It's funny because I tended to think I was average at best in terms of height. I have a bunch of tall men as friends. Among my friend group I am average, even a bit on the short side compared to them!

How does that make sense. Being in the 50th percentile means you’re average for a man which means you should be about 5’ 10”. For women it’s nearly 5’ 4”. So a woman the average height of a man would be on the 99th percentile, meaning that 99% of women are shorter than you.

@Electmen Yes I am tall in my country but not unreasonably tall. The average height in my country is only 1 cm higher as the U. S. but the Netherlands is #1 in height and is 6cm taller than the U. S. on average. I am still above average in the Netherlands but I saw a ton of people who were taller than me there :). My mother's cousin lives there and her husband is 201 cm or something like that.
