Do you like to run/jog and how long have you been a runner?

I'm a sprinter but the worst distance-runner. The mile-long warm-up jogs we did were my least favorite part about track. I'd be more winded than anyone else. I think I have far more of those fast-twitch muscle fibers they have than usual but less of the slow-twitch.

My PR when I was a teen was 10.3 secs for 100m and 7.7m long jump. I can't match that now though in my 40s but I can still get under 12 secs for 100m in spite of missing my big toe on the left foot.

@PrettyPriya I no longer actively train so much either and kind of meander. I think I'm an impatient person though so instead of walking to places, I like to sprint, like a sprint to the neighborhood grocery store, speed-shopping, then sprint back home. 3 mins flat! My wife takes like a whole hour to shop.

I use to High School. Now I prefer hiking and biking.

I do like to on occasion. I have been doing it now for a few years. I only do it at the gym, which gets a bit boring.

Yep! There is a nice park area not too far where I will run on the weekends if nice.

Same problem there though. Gets boring going to the same place after a while.

Nice! I live in a huge city so not the easiest to get around just to run.

In the cooler months I wear yoga pants. Hotter months running shorts. It’s about time for new sneakers as my running shoes are getting worn a bit.

I love the city! I'm so used to it that I'm not sure how I would adapt to the countryside. I have lived here all my life. It is just a part of me now.

I like loose shorts. Pretty much your standard Nike or Adidas. Nothing special other than they have to be pink or blue. Two fave colours. 😊

Those are cute colors. I like blue shorts too with some black also.

Yep! There is always something close by where I live. Pretty convenient. I guess it isn't for everyone. Traffic and people everywhere. If you are used to it, you don't even notice. Those that visit are like 😬.

I'm guessing you live in suburbs or similar if you run in your neighborhood?

I was a distance runner for many years. I ran several marathons and numerous shorter races. I really love the sport. I was sidelined by injuries and I recently had a total hip replacement so I do not run anymore.
