I have although maybe not that extreme. I started to get quite a dad bod thing going 3 years into marriage. My wife called it "happy fat" since we were very happy but dining out way too much.
So I ended up ceasing to dine out so much, cut down on the drinking, started training around 4 hours a day, and lost 35lbs. It took me 6 weeks and some might say that's way too much weight loss in such a short period of time, but I was a competitive athlete in my youth. It wasn't like I had to transform my lifestyle to lose weight. All I had to do was restore my former lifestyle. I also didn't aim to lose 35lbs in 6 weeks; I just wanted to get back in shape. The fat just melted off my body very rapidly.
Unfortunately, I lack a before and after pic. I often wish I took some since I like to provide weight loss advice to people and it'd probably add to my credibility if I took a before and after.
I do have recent pictures like this:

But this is many years after I made that transformation. I'm also not quite as lean as after I made the transformation in those pics. For the transformation, I worked my ass off training 2 hours before work and 2+ hours after every single day, and sometimes more than 4 hours on weekends. I no longer train so hard so I've become a little bit softer in those pics, but I've kept most of the fat off.
Mostly I believe in an exercise-first mindset which might seem odd and contradictory to the fitness industry which tends to say weight loss is 80% diet or something like that. I think that might be true for people who don't train so hard, but if we train like disciplined athletes, we can burn a boatload of calories in one day.
Also apologies for showing those pics! It might be a bit vain of me to show them. I don't think I have a very good body to be clear; I think I'm fitter than the average man in his 40s but far, far from someone who is still a professional athlete or a bodybuilder; it's the body of a drunk who eats a lot of junk. I mostly just want to have some credibility as an amateur fitness coach that my methods, as weird as they sound, can work.
I don't feel the need to show off my body to the whole internet. I didn't have a weight loss journey but I did a bulking up journey. I was a scrawny punk rocker in high school and then became a semi-pro Mixed Martial Artist throughout later years in Uni which allowed me to go from scrawny to very muscular. I'm proud of it but I am not narcissistic enough to show off online like other people.
i've lost a lot of weight and am finally thin now and almost happy with my body, but i haven't done a before and after mainly because I don't know how to take a full body pic lol.
Uhh you just take a selfie in a bathroom mirror
oh really
well maybe prop it up on something and have a timer to take the pic
you're only 13 so you don't have to worry too much.
But so many kids are getting so fat now-a-days
I have always been slim. My metabolism is high and I don't eat like a pig.
oh so I suppose you don't need this advice below then
https://youtu.be/zwtwYD4DZZ0
No I don't! I'm only 51kg. Less than that is underweight for my height

You can't change the fact that I'm hotter than any girl you ever touched. It hurts you loser. I know from every reply. My cute petite body is exciting for me as well.
You most definitely live in America-the land of obesity.

I don't see any pic of your body, you don't have the Cajones to post a pic of your body cuz you're a phatty just admit it you are obese!
I have posted and people love it. I don't need your opinion. You are fat.
I am laughing here because I am not even close to obese. You are frustrated as you're ugly and can't get a girl 😹😹😹
