Hard to look at back Bones?

So I was thinking of trying nursing. Not much freaks me out but there’s one thing that does and that’s seeing the skeleton of the back bones showing. Should I forget about nursing of this freaks me out? Does anyone else have this issue

Nursing is one of the worst professions out there.

I’d encourage you to do anything else. Your management will work you like a field mule and you’ll be so busy you can’t even get away to the bathroom to piss let alone eat a meal in the break room. The patients are completely abominable people most of the time who are very demanding and at times belligerent and even verbally abusive. 12 hour shifts are the norm, and on your days off you’ll be so exhausted you’ll do nothing but sleep and eat a bowl of cereal.

But yeah, when you have your hand up some constipated person’s ass or you’re keeping an elderly naked person with profound dementia from rolling out of bed, yet again, the sense of satisfaction I feel makes up for it all.

It’s a hard profession but a noble one to care for the sick or injured.
The back bones are just that, the spine. You might want to look at pictures of the spine, then models of it to get used to looking at them. Think of a masseuse who has people lying on their backs all the time while massaging them, or a chiropractor. There are also many overweight people whose spine bones you won’t see. In time you’ll get so used to seeing a back, that it won’t bother you anymore. That’s my opinion.

I'm sure you'll get over it in time. It's not worth giving your dream up over.
