Also such cream can have side effects of course and is not always effective. One fun side effect is burning in the area it is applied now that down... there wouldn't be the best any other place that would just be a shrug.

It depends on how severe the problem is. It also depends on what the circumcision culture is like in your part of the world. We are all different.

Due to my biases, I would not hesitate and request a "low and loose" style, if possible. I have done my research, and I backed out from a cosmetic circumcision about 3 years ago. My reasons at the time were the recovery period and the post-op care in the immediate days. I am biased towards circumcision: for me, a cut penis is more aesthetically pleasing, (it looks better) and feels more hygienic.

Creams and tinctures are all just voodoo that's trying to make some buck from the hesitant, screw that shit.

If one had to pay for it then yeah it seems to be just more money reasons. But thanks to how things work here, no pay needed so it becomes more they wouldn't give it out. In fact many times here they try to encourage or solve the problem without just handing over a prescription.
I remember that happened to me with Anti-Depressants. Not that they helped me anyway afterall but they were for sure trying to be stingy.

Anyway, the doctor in most cases will advise one to take the cream then if that don't work circumcised it is so that would be the answer if you follow thy doctor's opinion.

Definitely try the least invasive methods first. I know a few guys that had phimosis and we're able to fix it with steroid cream and spacers.

I’d say go for the circumcision right away. That will solve the problem for ever, whereas creams and stuff might not work anyway.
