What causes leg’s uncontrollable shaking? HELP Please?

My dad is 50 years old, he started having subtle leg pain around his thigh, few years already,

he didn’t pay attention in the beginning as it was not a sharp pain and didn’t disturb him much,

a couple years ago he had a bit swelling and he used to feel a bit pain when sitting down or sleeping.

He went to doctor but doctor couldn’t find anything wrong.

About 7 months ago, he started leg shaking and now it got worse, his leg shakes uncontrollably when he’s resting.

Anyone has an idea what it is and how to cure it? He goes to doctor tomorrow but I don’t have a trust in these doctors, it could have been avoided if only that doctor paid it more attention and gave a correct diagnosis.

It's more difficult for the body to spasm and shake when it has sufficient magnesium levels. But if he is on any medication, a lot of those natural treatments like magnesium oil spray may not be recommended due to contraindications. it could be a number of things, but restless leg syndrome comes to mind.

Bear in mind that deficiency in minerals when severe can cause all kinds of symptoms... but Doctors ignore all nutrition so the solution will never be from them. They only prescribe medication to suppress and silence the bodies voice that tries to tell us what's wrong.

Is he on any medication? if he is, then a lot of natural treatments will not be avaliable so not much may be able to be done. is he on heart or blood pressure medication?

He sometimes has high blood pressure and takes meds to regulate when it’s high

Does he only take those blood pressure medications when it's high? or does he take them daily regardless?

Yes, he is stressed out a lot, all the time, sleeps less and always worries about things.

My foot shake a bit as well, but mine is from stress and anxiety, it stops then shakes, then stops and shakes whenever it wants but it's just one foot at a time and it shakes without me really realizing it, perhaps your father's is from a form of stress as well, you'd be surprised on how many health problems stress can cause

I don't get treatment lol but I feel that maybe try helping him not stress, have like a family day out type of thing with your whole family and he just has to have a good relaxing time, like a picnic or something
