Last few months I've been having pins and needle like feeling in my ankles and shins.
I've never had this before and have been noticing it recently.
When I stand I have to wait a few seconds before walking or I feel dizzy if I don't.
I was thinking it might be the socks but this has happened recently and have worn this brand of sock before. I buy the same brand when they're worn out.
I stand for half the day in my job but I've been standing daily in this role for the last six months.
Unless it's taken time to get to this point.
Should I see a doctor?
I have to stand for some part of this job and if I get a doctor's certificate I can't afford to lose my job.

Yes, you definitely need to see a doctor. Your body is telling you something and you need to listen to it since you aren't a doctor and neither are we.
So many things can go wrong with our bodies. We can go to sleep and in the morning all of a sudden you have some kind of medical condition. It's weird but true.
If you can get a referral from your primary physician to see a neurologist that is the specialist you want to see for this.
Please... go to the doctor.
Could be diabetes. Have you been test for that? What’s your A1C? Diabetics get start to develop nerve damage, especially to the legs. I’m not saying that’s what it is but it’s a possibility. You need to go get checked. Diabetes is nothing to mess w, it causes a lot of health problems.
Drink more water.
