Trending & News There's usually a peak speed and speed is variable unless you're a really disciplined distance runner and set the steadiest pace which won't wear you out over the longest period. Most people won't be able to run at the pace like a 100m dash sprinter for far more than 100m (maybe 300m tops, 400m is usually where people especially need to run slower on purpose to avoid running out of breath).
I’m just trying to understand speed and miles whether it be a car or a person running.
In that case, if an object is moving 10mph and maintains that constant speed, then it would cover 10 miles per hour so long as that speed is constant.
The distance you would run in an hour is very dependent on what speed you are able to maintain.
Thanks for the MHO!
Yes, that's what it means. Distance traveled in 60 minutes is 8 miles (8 mph).
