Anyone allergic to the sun?

So recently this summer I have been experiencing stuff i dont think i did before. I used to enjoy walking in the sun at times without a hat, at times with, but usually just a tank top on -- and bottoms, BE QUIET PERVERTS! ;-D
But this summer when I am in the hot sun my skin feels like its burning. I'm not talking sun burns. I actually get tan from the sun. Sunburns dont happen much to me. I am talking about my skin FEELS LIKE ITS BURNING. Painful.
I actually have to hide my skin, eyes and head from the sun when I am out in the hot sun even for like a minute. Or just avoid being outside. I googled the symptom and read I might have a sun allergy. This is new stuff to me. Sun allergy.

Anyone know anything about any of the stuff i mentioned? thanks!

I had it a bit worse when I was kid now it's not really a problem, I told my teacher in PE as a kid he just laughed at me along with the other kids saying you cannot be allergic to the sun. Idiots.
It used to effect my ears of all things really bad. But also I am person who keeps coat on even in summer so I am sure that helps if I do still have it.

When I read about it my reaction at first was thats not possible because the sun is so healthy. Knee jerk reaction. I loved being in the sun. I dont think I ever heard of a sun allergy either. I kinda thought it was something someone made up to sell more sunscreen and stuff. But as i read about it, it started to make sense.

I wonder how rare this is.

I'm sure it's pretty rare but I bet a lot of it is mild or/and not reported. I would bet it is not as rare, as been allergic to water. But yeah people can be allergic to anything just somethings are way less common.
