I'm soon getting a CPAP machine. Do the masks get contaminated easily?

No but you have to use clean distilled water about every third day. If you are a light sleeper then the dull engine will keep you awake for couple weeks. If you go to bed at 11 get hooked up and stable at 10:30 so your breathing is regulated and it is not so noisy.
-If you have apnea and allergies 🤧, do your nose spray at 7pm. Nothing worse than that 💩, draining, and air blowing in your nose. First 90 days were horrible. Sleep will eventually improve. Snoring ended. They can monitor you remotely via Wi-Fi.

They DO get dirty, and pretty quickly- just HOW quickly depends on the style of mask. They're not hard to clean, though.

Make SURE, however, that any machine you receive isn't part of the current Philips recall, though; you do NOT want something that's going to kill you.

I’m assuming these organizations will try to keep them clean, if your able to control your condition through weight management, consider keto or vegetarian diets or low glycemic ones which are great for people too busy to exercise. My friend needed a machine to keep him alive in his sleep and one day his machine broke down and he died.

I have one and I usually wash the mask with dish soap every week.
