Tounge injury. ?

This happened this morning. Someone punched me in the face several times. I bit off a very very small piece of the skin on my tounge when this happened. I have been rinsing with salt water. It's extremely painful to even have that part of my tounge touching my teeth. Is there anything else I should be doing?

Update: I feel I should add I was outside of my doctors when this happened so after speaking with police I did have my doctor look at me.

As an epileptic who regularly bites my tongue during a seizure, if it doesn't need stitches there nothing that can be done unfortunately, you just have to ride it out. I would recommend avoiding any acidic foods as they will inflame it further, the tongue heals relatively quickly but for the next week or so try sticking to soft and bland foods.

I had a hole in my lip from an injury and it filled in over night after I used colloidal silver and DMSO 99%. But not using it correctly can be dangerous so read up on it first (DMSO). they will look at it and maybe give you an injection

by the way injection in tongue is fucking painful

Thankfully the tongue heals quickly. Avoid acidic food for a while😞

Your doc look at it and said rinse it or gargle with warm saline or salt water mix. You could also take some aspirin or ibprofen to help reduce swelling.

Not much you can do except go to the doctors to see if they can treat it, did get the person arrested for assault?

No. The police said there was nothing they could do. I live in a bad area full of crime.

Oh, I hope the doctor recommends something because it’s painful stuff like that
