Have you ever tested POSITIVE for COVID-19 and not been infected, and later, requesting a retest, and showing NEGATIVE?

Recently, I had scheduled a biopsy procedure at Hoag Hospital, in Newport Beach, and in conjunction, I had the mandatory COVID test, which came back POSTIVE, which of course cancelled the procedure, for a minimum of 30 days. Not being symptomatic, I requested a retest, the following day, at Hoag Urgent Care, after talking to the office of my physician.

I had to jump through a few hoops to get the second COVID test, but the results came back NEGATIVE. That said, I was able to reschedule the procedure, and as a plus was about to change some of the pre-op prep in the process.

Anyone else had this experience?
