Is going to therapy with a psychologist a waste of time?

It’s hit or miss it depends what good quality he or she is. Do they really care about you or are they just clock watchers do they think about you when they get off their job at night ask him that as soon as you can next time, but do it at the right time when he’s in a friendly mood not in the middle of a serious discussion but just say it at the right time. When they clock out for the day do you think they really care about you and think back on the session on how it went and how are you doing? Thats a very important question remember this I don’t like people that think like this there’s another $100 that I made that they get out of you. After they just finished looking at their watch getting you out of there five minutes early and they can’t wait to go I don’t like those Kind of psychologist. Pay close attention when they start looking at the Watch or the Clock

I think so, most of the people I know who've been to counseling or a shrink only really needed and objectice view point. Something a good friend can give you.

No. It’s very helpful. Counselors are usually very kind and empathetic people who just get paid for their time cause that’s how they make a living.

Therapy can be very helpful. But you have to make sure your therapist is good because some people just want to earn money rather than help someone.
