From what i know, its not as dangerous.
Monkeypox is less contagious, spreads slower espacially since half of the population is already vaccinated, as the basic small pox vaccine still works against this strand of the pox.

Also you see the pox on the skin of someone and you will keep your distance.

So its not likely to become a pandemic.
