Heart palpitations during exercise , Has that ever happened to you?

There are different kinds of palpitations. I have two kinds. One is dangerous, and if it hangs on you need to be in a hospital because your blood is not circulating properly and it can form clots in the heart which can travel to the brain and give you a stroke, possibly killing you. The other is merely extra beats and is not as dangerous. You need to be evaluated by a doctor. They can have you exercise while hooked up to a heart monitor which will show them exactly what is going on. Once it is determined what is happening, they can tell how dangerous it is and what you can do about it. I have not had either in years, but when I feel them I can tell which kind it is and know when to see a doctor.

Exercise and Palpitations
As the heart rate increases during exercise, extra heartbeats or palpitations go away. After exercise, adrenaline levels remain high for a period of time as the heart rate slows down. Palpitations or extra heartbeats return during this period, sometimes at an increased rate and frequency.

I had this once in uni when I was undereating a lot and not managing my hydration or electrolytes.

Definitely not fun. I was worried I was gonna have serious long term impacts to worry about.

It went away after I started eating the right amount, drinking enough water, and reducing my exercise (I was working out at least 3h/day at that point).

Hiatal hernia can cause that feeling. Ask your doctor (or chiropractor). When mine acts up from time to time it feels like my heart is going to explode.

How do you know they are palpitations? There are causes to that sensation. If you don't have a family history of heart disease, are not overweight, and below 45 years old, it could be something like esophagus spasms which feel identical to palpitations.

It's normal for your heart to pound very quickly, of course, but if it's fluttering and jerking around and missing beats, you should... probably go to the hospital.

I worked out with a guy that used to drink a quart of Jolt Cola in the morning when we worked out. I tried it once and my heart really went nuts. I got cold sweats and felt like I was going to faint.

That's never happened too me. I'd say have an asprin and an electrolyte drink and get checked out by a doctor.

Ok. Those shots cause all kinds of issues with the whole body, as well as the heart. It was the first thing I thought of when I saw your question. Once you treat the 'vaccine' the body can recover. The danger is in not treating what it's doing to the body and carrying on as normal...

Magnesium is the mineral you will want to try getting more of when concerning the heart. An easy way is to use magnesium lotion on the skin so it is transdermally absorbed. But if you are on any medication consult the Doctor first.
