How long is the longest time you haven't taken a bath? How was it?

It has been several years since I took a bath last.

When I was a child and living at home, we would have a bath once a week, usually on Saturday where my sister and I would leave more water on the floor of the bathroom that in in the bathtub itself. Saturday was bath day while the rest of the week was only shower days.

However, since I am about 12 years of age, I have never taken a bath, simply because it is not very practical. Now, being very conscious about saving water and energy, I take a daily short shower but no baths because it is a total waste of water.

With the amount of water used in a bath, one can take at least 5 showers.

Therefore, I can reasonably say that it has been at least 10 years since I have taken my last bath and honestly, I don't miss it too much except sometimes in Winter when it would be nice to warm up in a hot bath.

I haven't gone more than a day. Actually, I bathe twice a day. Usually a shower in the morning and bath in the afternoon after working out. I don't like feeling dirty. The thought of going even one day without a bath makes me cringe.

I'm not sure how many people out there go for more than a day, but weeks? Goodness me I cannot even imagine. I usually shower in the morning just to be quicker as I am trying to rush around and get things going for the day.

In the afternoon/evening, I prefer to take a bath if I have the time. I like to sit and relax and unwind. I just feel so much more relaxed and fresh after I workout and get myself cleaned up. Curious, since you have asked... what is the longest time you have gone without bathing and why? Just curious to see what others say as the the reasons they wait so long.

Do you mean shower or bath? I have gone three weeks during the Gulf War. A few wet wipes and baby powder. That first shower after was amazing!
