What does it feel like to be high?

What does it feel like to be high off a joint for the first time? I’m doing it tomorrow with my cousin and I’m a little nervous. What should I expect?

Usually it doesn't work the first few times. For me it was a little like being inside a wind up clock except each gear was a different thought or sense, available for individual inspection, keeping pace with one another with a method I couldn't put together because that would have added another gear. I found watching the show Archer is pretty much ideal for keeping yourself distracted from trying to control it - don't try to control it, by the way, as that's what leads to the paranoia. Just trust that it's not permanent and you planned your night around not relying on having full control of yourself - also, remember to plan your night around that.

You'll be giggly and lightheaded. Things are so much more interesting, so watching a show or something you find funny. You'll feel very relaxed and you may want to fall asleep, some people get really tired when high. You may get the munchies so bring snacks you like. Don't be nervous and just relax, take deep breaths. If you feel anxious tell your cousin, I'm sure they'll help you.
