I had a minor surgery about 5 years ago, yet I'm still depressed, and I'm pretty sure it's from receiving anesthesia. I stopped feeling happy, lost all my friends, and don't care for anything anymore.
The immediate blackness and nothingness makes me think that's what I have to look forward to in death. If there's nothing, then why live at all.
Anyway, has anyone else experienced these feelings? How did you get through it?
I just want to feel like myself again.

I just had a partial knee replacement 17 days ago and the not being able to move without pain has me bummed. Surgery takes a lot out of a person. Also they use a lot of drugs that affects last longer than you think.
It's the first time I am listening something like this. Yes i had also surgery of my eyes , but i never witnessed anything like that.
