Food allergies?

When i eat out at some restaurants i get massive headaches for 2 days after, ringing in the ears and ill feeling. What could this be? Food allergies or just bacteria in the food? Or a virus goin around?

Your blood will be analyzed to determine whether you build up a reaction slowly over time. It's the slow developing sensitivities that are harder for individuals to identify. Your situation shows a fairly immediate response to whatever you may be sensitive to, so a standard allergy test may be all you need. Contact the restaurants you reacted to, tell them you had a reaction and ask them for a list of ingredients in the menu items you consumed, so you can identify the culprit. Take that list to your allergist, and then get tested for those items by your allergist.

Usually, when talking about food allergies one associates them with the symptoms of an itchy tongue or throat. Swelling of the airway etc. It could be the amount of sodium in food eaten out is tremendous and it ccan cause your symptoms. Its important to flush your body with fluids after a salty meal.
