What was everyone's symptoms when you got covid?

I got civid recently and it has been hell. Throat feels like i swallowed jagged rocks, swollen soft palate blocking my throat when I sleep, hurts to even drink water let alone eat, near constant coughing up thick white mucus, and fluxuating fever. And herbal cocktail teas only work for 5 minutes...

It wasn’t so bad, surprisingly. I am a plus-sized woman with a tachycardic heart (I do get chest pains and heart palpitations often).
I think the worst virus I had was RSV, which I had 3 months before I got COVID (R. I. P my lungs).
It was bad. It hurt to breathe and it felt like my lungs were in pain. I'd rather COVID any day compared to that virus 😅


Have you taken anything for the fever? What about lozenges or numbing throat spray?
Also, not sure if what you are coughing up is OK. Bits of the yellow stuff is fine, not sure about white though 🤔

White mucus is normal for covid, I've been taking magic mouthwash, nyquil, medicinal anti-inflammatory tea, herbal lozenges. Worse part is the throat swelling and pain.

It seems like the herbal stuff isn't working very well. Perhaps you need something stronger?

cough, runny/stuffy nose, slight chills, heat flashes… that’s about it.


i got it last week and finally tested negative today!

A minor runny nose and some fatigue- but then, I hadn't spent months crippling my immune system by hiding from humanity.

Even though it passed through my household twice, I never contracted it, so I did not experience the symptoms.
