What symptoms did you have when you had Covid?

Anonymous

I'm honestly a little shocked. I tested positive a few hours ago. I was beginning to think I was immune.

Oh well. I'm fully vaccinated, so it shouldn't be too bad. At least, I hopefully shouldn't have permanent symptoms. But I guess I already have asthma, and stunted lung capacity, so we'll see.

I woke up this morning feeling very achey and woozy. But I get silent migraines all the time, so I didn't think anything of it. My nose was also super stuffed up, and I had chills, but I always get a sinus infection and chills when I get a cold. Because my immune system is ridiculous and over-reacts to everything.

It mostly went away after walking around for a few hours. The exhaustion stayed, but I felt okay during work. I assumed that it was the ibuprofen, but then it all came back later in the day when I would try to lie down at home, and my usual over-the-counters didn't work.

I vaguely remembered reading something about covid symptoms getting worse when you lie down, which would explain why I woke up feeling awful, but I was mostly fine when I was walking around all day at work. So I figured I would test just in case.

Oh well. Wish me luck. I'm curious about other people's symptoms though, and how long it lasted. Also, mention in the comments whether or not you were vaccinated when you got Covid.

Thanks!

I was scrolling through old posts, and came across this, so I figured I would update. I was fine, but I definitely needed the days off. Because I work outside, and move around a lot. But my worst symptoms of Covid were severe exhaustion (I slept most of the day) and achiness all over. There were a few days too where everything tasted like spoiled milk. That really sucked.

I’m glad I was vaccinated. Because I have asthma. And while Covid definitely made me really stuffed up, I was overall fine.
