What are or were your Covid 19 infection symptoms?

I had no symptoms from omicron. After a while I got a bit of an upper airway infection after 6 days of testing positive, but I think that was from a cold virus my mom took home when we were isolated with covid, because she never tested positive (5 selftests and 3 PCR bc doctor) but she also had a slight bit of upper airway infection as well.
I got it from either my dad or my little sister who were positive. They had no symptoms either. Isolation was the worst part tbh.
We all had the booster shot by the way but still caught it. My little sister even had 4 shots (she had chemo during the first) , of which 1 only 2 weeks before catching so very recent.
I don't know it's very interesting how my mom didn't catch it, but all of us did. Guess I didn't inherit her insane immune system.
My symptoms were same as yours, although I have additional red eyes with sticky mucus coming out of it and my saliva became so viscous and its hard to take a deep breath. I can taste sweet and salty but no savory that I could not identify what food is it.
I also do not know where I contracted it. I did got a vaccine few weeks before getting covid positive. lol
I have a slightly elevated heartbeat around 90+ bpm, very slight hand numbness and slight tiredness when breathing, how about u?
That means I have a weaker immune system? I already taken my booster a month back
Extremely mild. Completely indistinguishable from a mild cold or sinus infection. Over and done with in the span of ~30 hours.
In fact the only reason I even suspected COVID was because two coworkers had tested positive a couple days prior. I think Donald Trump of all people actually had one of the most similar reactions: "I woke up and I didn't feel like myself."
Have u taken your booster?
I haven’t got infected with COVID 19 yet. But all the symptoms that you are experiencing are the most common ones. My close friends and family who got sick because of COVID also had similar symptoms. Some had severe body aches for a few days.

Had what I believe to be Omicron up until a few days ago. No real symptoms. Just a bit tired. Worst bit was being stuck indoors with my family for 10 days. We are all fully jabbed, and none of the other 4 caught it.
Who are the other 4? I suspect I contacted Omicron too, as it’s now the dominant strain around the world
My mum and her partner, my boyfriend, and my brother.
I see, god blessed u and ur family members! Hope u are feeling better now!
Fine thanks. Been back at work about a week now. Back to an early morning 5 mile run, too.
When I had it, I had a low grade fever for a bit. The biggest for me was fatigue for about 36 hours. I couldn't stay awake. Had a minor cough after but nothing more than an annoyance.
I see, have u taken ur booster shot? I took it in late December last year
Yes, because I work in healthcare, in my country, I was able to get the booster. They just started doing that here.
Ref update: I haven't a damn clue either. You never truly know. Even if you were around someone that had it, it could be a random stranger that was asymptomatic and already had given it to you.
Wow, those shots and booster were supposed to stop this.
The jabs do not stop you getting it or passing it on. They do stop you getting a bad infection, which in turn, helps reduce the chances of you passing it on.
I am sure I picked it up from an unvaxed person in the cafe where I work. It did not spread to my family, although we mixed freely for the 10 days I was positive.
whoopsie.
@Jessica405 The point is you can also get it from a vaxed person too then.
Yes, but the number of incidences is greatly reduced. That is the point.
@Jessica405 No, the point is to stop the spread. Otherwise they're not vaccines.
@joeldalton You are missing the point. It reduces the incidents of spreading. When I got covid last year, 3 out or the other 4 members of my family got it. Only my brother didn't get it. Even though Omicron is more infectious, it did not spread within my family this time.
@Jessica405 3 out of your 4 family members didn't get it because they have natural immunity. Not because of these shots.
@joeldalton I am not going to argue any further. I know you are an antivaxer. I am not. No further discussion. Just you go and find out how long natural immunity lasts. It in not over a year.
@Jessica405 so about twice as long as the shots? lol. And I'm not an anti vaxxer, I have all my vaccinations. I haven't taken the gene therapy mRNA shot, however.
Wow, what’s gene therapy mRNA shot?
My symptoms were coughing, shortness of breath, nausea, chills, and a runny nose. Mostly mild too.
I have similar symptoms too! For some reason I consider it as moderate for me lol, maybe I have low tolerance XD
I hope you recover soon
Thanks! Hope u are feeing better now!
Yeah, I am :)
I have slight shortness of breath, meaning breathing will cause slight tiredness, is this pneumonia? Very mild numbness in fingers and palm. Are these life threatening?
I'm not sure but I think you could consult with a doctor to be sure.
I think if you had covid pneumonia your symptoms probably wouldn't be mild, they'd be severe from what I read, but I'm not 100% sure about it.
Ok I will assess later to see if there’s a need to visit the doctor, or it could be I am being a pussy and overreacted lol
It's normal to get worried, even though my symptoms were mild I felt weird every time I had some bit of difficulty breathing too. It doesn't feel good to know that you have a virus that caused so many problems inside your body. I think you'll be fine with some rest and eating all your meals breakfast lunch and dinner to stay strong, try meals and drinks that are good vitamin sources. Also drink water and take some medicine to control your symptoms.
And if you feel very bad go to a doctor immediately
Or to a hospital if it's an emergency
Is it covid19 test?
It's like a pregnancy test 🙈🙈
Yea but it looks like a pregnancy test kit
Yep, that's the typical omicron symptoms. I had the same ones
I had a fever of 99 degrees for 10 days and a cough that lingered a few months.
Woke up this Monday wee hours of the morning, two days ago with 37.5-37.6C (99.5F-99.68F), but subsided minutes after taking medication
Mild fever was one of my symptoms of covid-19 infection
99F is only 37.2C, I don’t think that’s fever?
It’s isn’t depending on who you ask, but I felt feverish - if that makes sense.
Like a bad flue. Felt dizzy, stuffy head, hard to focus, slight fever, loss of breath.
Have u taken ur booster?
Congratulations have you thought of a name?
Wdym by a name?
