I work in a metal institution. I had to deal with some very difficult people when they don't take their love ones mental health seriously. I had a people going off on me and the doctor who I work for complain claiming their love one does not need medication. We have a lot off olderly people with dementia later to have their family member come back asking for the doctor to prescribe medication. My question is how dangerous does the issue need to be for people to take their love one's mental health seriously?

A little late to answer but I have following reasons.
1. My countries doctors, especially in private practice are money milkers. Meaning they are not there to treat. They are there to milk cash. Most times they don't have patients best interest at heart.
2. I got these pills from doctors and they didn't work. An antibiotic he prescribed. Instead I asked the pharmacy guy hey, which one alternative to this one. He said you can buy this inexpensive alternative to the old generation medicine. The price was less and treated like a charm.
3. What kind of a doctor tells you cholesterol is all bad? They will give you lovastatin and it would be killing all good cholesterol in the body. My father had it and he never felt better. They gave him 9 pills per meal. Now he is on 4 pills per meal and a lot better. Can drive and everything.
4. Use your own head friend, I don't blindly follow the doctor ever since I saw what there aim was in medical school being an ex enrolled student. They are looking not at humanities suffering 99%.
I saw it, when it was my first class in medical school my teacher asked all of us why you want to become doctors and dentists? And all said they want to do it for money or marriage but two of us, me and this other guy said we we want to help the people.
God it was toxic there. It was not Grey's Anatomy, or the Good doctor, they were Angels of Money 🤑💰, not Angels of life as they depict doctors.
And then before that, I gave test at one of the medical school and do you know what they prided themselves in? Was it some cool machinery? Good professors? Was it Good medical practices and availability of procedures?
It was that their graduates can pass USMLE with 97% pass out rate lol. You think your immigrant doctors are there to help you with your country? They just want your Money. They don't care if you live or die.
It was all an eye opener for me. Why those people don't go to European countries or Russia of Central Asia even? It's not that those countries are bad or these doctors get less practice there or they don't get to help or anything like that. They just don't get same level of money.
Americans would be better off not giving these immigrants these jobs. They are just making long and hefty medical bills.
The field of psychology is more so pseudoscience. More psychology peer reviewed studies lack reproducibility, than those that are reproducible. So if patients actually trusts someone that is an expert in the field, they're probably morons. The field is filled with a bunch of hacks that base their beliefs on unsound evidence.
