I am on sertraline (anti depression meds), Hana (birth control pill) and multivitamins.
I need something to help me sleep that doesn't mess around with my birth control or anti depression meds. Any ideas please? Or any good medical forums?
No sleeping pill is safe and you certainly dont wish to be reliant on all this medication , taking a pill does not remove the underlying problem , learn to meditate , learn to close the mind and prepare the body for sleep , its all this other stuff you are taking that is keeping you awake , and at 23 years of age this is not good.
If you have to take something , try some calming natural medics , but certainly dont go down the path of further script meds , your goal must be to get off this stuff not add to it.
Pills dont cure or fix , they mask.
Chamomile tea.
I'll try that

"Is it bad that i'm hooked on magnesium to help me sleep?"

I literally need it every night. I find that's the only way I can sleep pretty much
I'm sorry what? I've got ptsd I just need sleep
In other words, maybe their solution will help you also?
Not in a good headspace rn sorry and yeah will have a look. Thanks
Melatonin is okay, also try to limit using any tech for at least an hour before sleep and I find listening to white noise helps me sleep if I'm anxious or overthinking etc
I can't get melatonin in the UK without a prescription.
I never knew that. Thanks I look
It's not that I don't want to deal the either doctor/pharmacy. Honestly anything that will knock me out and make me not go to bed at 5am would be great so thanks again 👍

You’re perfectly healthy to get enough sleep. Just manage your food intake timings and energies in a day. Initially it might be difficult to see this, but as your practice you’ll find yourself in the balance. No medicine is needed for sleep, particularly in your case.
Melatonin. Find ways to destress, turn off all lights an hour or more before bed. Try to not use your phone before bed. Do meditation before bed
I can't get melatonin in the UK without a prescription.
The fawk?
European countries have different laws. We are more strict
That’s fucked
Not really. We get most of out medication for free on the NHS. Plus we have free heslthcare unlike you guys sp I guess that's why we are more calm on medication?
You can’t have it all. Plus most people that are on meds don’t take care of their health. So that’s the irony of it all
If you don’t take care of your health you’ll need meds intending to keep your organs functioning
Melatonin works for my wife and doesn't mess with birth control or depression meds.
I can't get melatonin in the UK without a prescription. I'm on birth control pill because I don't want a kid rn and my anti depression meds are for my anxiety and low moods
What's that?
It's a version of Tylenol that has a sleep aid. I don't know what the ingredient is or its interactions but know that it's out there. Although if melatonin isn't available in the UK without prescription that may not be either. Typical America: hard to see our GP, easy to get meds. 🤦♂️
I'll have a look lol
I find a good orgasm helps you relax, de-stress and fall asleep.
My anti depression meds gave reduced my sex drive
