Hmm, that's 5-6 shots a day and 40 units of alcohol a week
Really it should be 14 units or less a week
That's 2 shots a day, 7 days a week
Or do 7 shots on Friday, and 7 on Saturday - then you're within safety limits and your bottle will last 3 weeks
I'm on 50 units a week of wine as I drink a bottle a day (10 units in a bottle apparently)
So if I cut down to 2 bottles a week, I'd still be on 20 units :O
If I have a bottle and a half a week, it's still over? Maybe I should cut down?
Though you may not see other symptoms, you have trained your body to expect a liter of alcohol every week and your body now expects it. Should you stop, you would probably notice a strong need that forces you back to drinking. Then you would know you are an alcoholic. Some people can actually stop completely and stay sober without help, but it can be hard. You may need help from an organization to get this monkey off your back. Best of luck.
Can you stop at any point if you wanted to? If so, it's not an addiction. It's up to you to decide whether that's a healthy habit for you though. But hey, sometimes unhealthy habits have to be formed for a period of time to cope with life during the impossible moments.
Although a liter is not a huge amount in a week, if you do it on a continual basis I would say you have alcoholic tendencies. You are just maintaining yourself to keep from having a major hangover and the shakes. I hope it's at least a good brand.
Thanks Dub.

I would say you may want to cut back a little, if not for health reasons someday. If you are having a drink because you enjoy it and can do with out (still in control), then you're not an alcoholic, but if you are drinking not to feel anything or numb pain, then you could be.
Seems pretty normal is what I picked. Some people are fucked up on that amount of alcohol. Some aren't. I'd have to see how you act in the week to make a total judgment.
It doesn't affect my behaviour as far as I know.
You're in the normal zone in my opinion... people that have a problem with it let it make them act like a fool. They do shit that gets them in jail. If you're just chillen when you drink I don't see a problem.
1L is usually drunk in one go.
The guy who drinks a liter of Vodka in a week is probably drinking it lying on the lawn with a twist straw.
Per definition you're an alcoholic, but 1 liter weekly is far below consumption of most alcoholics.
That's definitely bordering on becoming/being an alcoholic.
Thanks EM.
Alcohol addiction (alcoholism) can be defined as a person's physical and mental health, family, social and work harmony deteriorating to the extent of frequent and excessive alcohol intake.
If that's not happening, you're not addicted, dude
I know dozens of men who drink 1 liter a day. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 I won’t call someone an alcoholic who can drink 1 liter only in 1 week. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
I don’t drink so to me sounds excessive
Good plan. You don't need that monkey on your back.
Its a lot. You should cut on your drinking a bit
Thanks David.

Bad don’t do this again
