It depends. If you focus on the positive just to avoid seeing the negative, then you will always be a ignorance.

But if you're using negativity as fuel to force yourself to be better and stay positive, then ignorance become wisdom.

Sure, it's okay to be positive. But there is such a thing as toxic positivity. Toxic positivity is when you mask your true feelings with over whelming positive talk. So instead of dealing with disappointment or failure in a healthy way you mask your true feelings and assume a positive outlook. You can also be toxic with your positivity when you dismiss other people feelings and by telling them things like, it's a blessing in disguise, or your better off without it, or chin up, or it's not as bad as you think.

So, I am a strong believer in positive thought, but do not do it at the expense of your true feelings... that is to say it's okay to take a minute and be upset or disappointed. Where and if you cross the line, it really dependent on your own boundaries.

Is it okay to be always positive?

It's immoral to harm others, so it's good that youd don't. But it's also immoral to not defend life when needed, so it's really impossible to interpret being "always positive". If you're commanded by the government to murder an innocent person, does being always positive mean you do as you're told?

Notice that willingness is above neutrality..
Your "yes" has no value until you learn to say "no"...

So being positive always implies rejecting certain things... right? Even a positively charged magnet repels it's own pole, it doesn't attract absolutely everything just because it's "always positive"...

Nope. It’s good to think optimistic and see the bright side of a negative situation, I am pretty positive myself for the most even when something hasn’t turned out well, sometimes I tend to worry a lot and dwell over things but keeping your head up with a positive attitude helps your mental state and overall health, I think people with negativity won’t go far.

We'll, my wife is kinda like that quite a bit and I view it as a super power at this point since she can as well rationalize decisions.

everything is ok to a degree, it's better than being negative. Balanced consideration is ideal with positive mindset.

Yes. I realize, in general, people will disappoint me. Use me. Find ways to take advantage of me. I realize, life itself is supremely indifferent to our existence.

But I stay optimistic. I assume the best in others. Because it brings out the best in me.

You're not, just look at your recent complaints about trolls for example.
But in general, you feel how you feel and you can't change that, so feelings are always valid.
