Would you say you have good hygiene (be honest)?

Maybe it’s just me but I grew up in a clean home and parents that taught me to shower at least twice a day (and change my underwear every day!!).

And to make my bed every day…clean my environment whenever I make a mess…

It’s like the more time I spend living with other people, the more I realise their hygiene is rubbish.

It’s not even rubbish, it’s disgusting in all honesty.

And although I have friends who want to move out with me, I could never because they’re very unclean.

Now I’m wondering what people are actually like?

I would sat so, yes. Though I think one shower a day is enough, unless I get like really sweaty and sticky, or was swimming something. The longest I've gone without a shower was 4 days when I was a teenager. We were traveling through South Dakota and camping and none of the campgrounds had showers. It was disgusting! I finally made her pay $180 for a lodge, just so I could take a shower.

I could never imagine wearing the same underwear for that one day. Yuck!

My bed usually gets made, but I'll admit there are some days when I'm lazy and I'm like, "I'm just gonna sleep in it again later and when do we ever have guests?"

I'll admit, I'll often leave my bathroom sink, because it's hard to clean. And I'll only dust and vacuum occasionally, because I have so much stuff and space that it takes too damn long. And it's not like it's super disgusting. I do more cleaning at my job, 'cuz that place is always a dump.

I also wear the same pants and jacket everyday, so usually I'll just throw them on my chair, so I can just grab them and go. Pants/shorts and jackets are one of those things that don't really get dirty, so I see no issue in wearing the same pair everyday. Shirt, socks and underwear however, no way. Those should be changed.

Yeah, one of my buddies wanted me to move in with him, but he was absolutely disgusting. Americans in general are messy people and they're not even embarrassed about it, even the girls. Our PE teacher took us to the girl's locker room one time and there were random shoes and underwear just laying around. And I won't even tell you some of the disgusting shit my coworkers used to do.

And a lot of Americans don't wash their hands after they go to the bathroom, and Americans will just shut bare ass on public toilets, even on freaking porta-potties! If I'm 100% honest Sally, I'd kind of be scared to have sex with an American girl, especially oral, without protection, because American girls have very poor hygiene, and the sad part is, they're not even ashamed of it.

Indian people always have a reputation, but my mom went to an Indian home in Canada and was amazed how spotless the place was.

Americans also get offended when you ask them to remove their shoes.

I think Islam for the most part promotes PERSONAL hygiene, at least.

I had a roommate once it really bothered how messy he was.

I was raised to clean after myself because It’s rude to make your mother clean after you and we don’t like having maids.

Also it’s rude to enter a room with shoes and sandals.

The bathroom sandal stays in the bathroom and room sandals stay where they belong.( it’s cultural thing)

I’m a minimalist (OCD) and I like having few things around me so its hard to be messy.

I shower twice a day and sometimes more If I had the chance ( I enjoy taking showers) and honestly I can’t stand staying Janaba even for minute lol

I shower every second day.. because I don't sweat so.. not really a need to since I'm not dirty, but I do wash my hands 100s of times in a day.. its really bad I have to constantly lotion them because they get super dried out. I change my undergarments everyday and I keep my environment clean... unless I'm busy with school work then my area gets fucked up lol

To be honest, I am hygienic but my wife maintains our home so while I don't intentionally trash our home, she runs in circles always finding something to clean and she's a terminal clean freak so she would likely hit me if I tried to clean in a way she doesn't like.

I couldn't live in a place that's dirty though. I don't blame you there at all.

Yeah I agree with you on that it's why I couldn't move in with other people. And well I'm the same as you I wasn't taught that by my parents. But I like to shower twice a day though I'm not always allowed to. And I can't keep things as organised as I want to but I do clean things up and try to keep as clean and tidy as possible.
