yes, for our job yes, no way do I want some goobers slobber all over me.
It is not all that unusual to have bodily fluids around, so we are all very careful about that.
Now personal hygiene is also a yes.
There are times that I am just going to get dirty, be it at a fire scene, working on a truck or car, working outside sure we all get dirty and greasy, but when I am done it is shower time.
Now with so many things we are exposed to being a cryogen for your long term health it is best to hit the shower as soon as you can once you are able to.
We are even supposed to have 2 sets of gear so after a fire you use the clean set and the one you had on goes into the gear washer.
That is not possible for all departments with the costs now.
You just do the best you can.

Yes I take it serious. I work in medical. You work in medical too? If so they allow you to have long nails like that? Probably one of the worst hygienic things you can do. Probably has feces w a number of other bacteria under it. As for what it looks like, not bad. But I’m not a girl so I think they’re ok. Supposedly the longer a girls’ nails are the crazy she is.
