im tall and underweight becoz of celiac and i recently started taking 2 prozac a day. i dont think its food or water retention. it still there in the morning.
Ok, I had a friend on Prozac who had GI discomfort and bloating - she was always feeling "Full"
I'm celiac as well - are you certain you're not cross contaminated by error? No accidental ingestion of gluten or anything?
Chances are it COULD definitely be gluten causing your issues. When I was diagnosed I went 6 MONTHS trying to figure out why I was still bloated, sore, distended stomach. It was due to there being trace amounts of gluten in the spices i was using to cook with, as they were NOT labelled gluten free. -_-
Could be
- constipation / IBS too if you have that with your celiac disease
- my friend who was on prozac, used to tell me it was after the 2nd or 3rd week, is when her symptoms started and she would get HORRIBLE gas pains and bloat like crazy in her abdomen. She used natural ginger candies / tablets (gravol) and took those to help, along with mint teas.
It could be a side effect of the new meds. Are your meds gluten free? I've learned the hard way some medication aren't! :(
Hope you feel better soon. Try ginger tablets, mint tea, ginger tea, it'll help de-bloat!

You might check to see if you have an umbilical hernia. Under your belly button could also be something associated with the liver. A trip to the doctor is advised as neither of these are good. An "all clear" from the doctor would be a good thing for peace of mind.
