What would cause a girl I'm texting to grow an abnormally large belly?

I met this girl when I was out on a run once and I thought she was really cute so I asked her for her number. She’s pretty average when it comes to height and weight. She must have been wearing baggy clothes the first time I met her because after seeing her a couple of times afterwards I noticed that she has a larger than normal abdomen. Since she’s wearing tighter clothes now I noticed that everywhere else around her body she is somewhat skinny.

When she stands up her belly kind of hangs over her pants. All I know as of now is that she has a kid that she spends time with on the weekend. I don’t know if there’s some type of alcoholism involved or not. We’ve just been talking for about 2 weeks. That’s just something that has me a little concerned but it does not deter me. I still find her cute and still want to get to know her.

What would cause this in someone relatively young?

Women don't put on belly fat as men do. They tend to put fat on more evenly. Maybe some consequence of childbirth? She doesn't look pregnant does she?

I'm not really sure. I've noticed that when she sits can definitely look pregnant but when she stands up, it kinda droops over waist. Like how it would an overweight person. Maybe it's both? She has belly fat and might be pregnant?

Know a women who had herself tighten up around that area after child birth. I didn't ask details because I didn't want to know to be honest. Might be a consequence. Is at at her natural waist line or lower?
