No, but most medication is designed to keep you in sickness so side effects are to be expected.
I doubt my epilepsy meds are designed to destroy my thyroid
And yet 'Many studies have shown that AEDs have a negative influence on endocrine function including the thyroid gland'. Notice how with all of the money, vast research, equipment and advances there is still no mainstream cure for epilepsy...
There is though, I just dont want brain surgery for an implant

The only 'cures' that are publicized are the ones that make profit and profit is always placed above the patients health. When ever there is a cure that cannot be patented, you will never hear about it again...
you're right there is corruption in this country compared to others with free healthcare but I personally doubt pills are purposely added with side effects. Who knows
Same countries in Europe that have no profits use the same pills
When the entire foundation of a health system only treats symptoms then side effects are guaranteed. Almost all health systems only treat symptoms and that is absolutely insane when you really think about it. The only way that makes sense is short-term but people are on medication that only treats symptoms for life!
Weird ass dreams on melatonin if that counts.
