Actually, I've been thinking of doing the same, and I have to say I wouldn't blame you one bit. This site isn't what it used to be like, even just a couple of years ago. It's dull, the same questions keep getting asked over and over again, no one seems to read the 'MyTakes' (unless it's a controversial, misogynistic post by some loser incel, and then his buddies leave favourable comments), and OH BOY are there some dummies here who don't even understand a simple and obvious joke.

A few years ago when the Presidential campaigns were going on we had more things to talk about. Plus I think the alphabet people and democrats don't come on here because all they'll get from us an good argument from the user's.
And the fact that so many people on here are tired of the the moderators handle this site got a lot of people pissed off and they left.
I guess if the moderators weren't so ready to pull or our question more people would want to stay.

I did leave over a year ago because I had problems with my account and life issues. I was gone for a couple months. I missed talking with everyone here so I started a new account. Luckily I found everyone that I used to talk to before I left.

I mean, you won't be missing much. But many of us have quit and come back. I feel the best thing to do is just not log in for some months and then come back when ready. I dont deactivate or anything. I just take breaks because this site can be toxic and occasionally dull

Yes, I've already done this, I've had other accounts that I've closed down. I think this is my sixth time here, lol :D I just keep coming back.

I wouldn’t blame you if you did but I’m sure you’d be missed. You can try taking a break if you’re unsure, maybe a few days or weeks, and then come back and see how you feel

No. I did that a few years ago and came back and had to start all over. If it gets too boring or too toxic, just take a break for awhile.
