Why is that the crotch part of my pajamas seem to get thin fast?

There's a lot of stress on that part of the garment. You stress the cloth whenever you move you legs, and if your thighs rub together, you're also putting some friction there too.

I asked a local clothing vendor and she said it's caused by excessive moisture and friction.

It's because you move, rather than putting on PJs, planking and doing so until the morning. When you walk your legs are rubbing together, even if just a little, and they wear a tiny bit thinner each time.

Moving over to sleep on your side, putting a pillow between your legs so your back doesn't feel off in the morning, so on and so forth. The same thing happens to my pajama pants, though I don't care too much, nothing lasts forever.

Remake them into chaps lol

Do your thighs rub together? There's material on them when they do. That material is rubbing against itself all day. It gets softer, then it gets thinner, like crumpled paper.

Yeah, I don't know why. It happened to me... my pajamas must have gotten worn out, and my sister pointed this out when she told me she could see my balls.
