Is a small cut on the scrotum with an electric trimmer serious?

If its shallow, its like any other skin cut. If its deep enough to worry about, see a Dr, or urgent care place.

My guess is that if it was from an electric trimmer, its probably not serious. Keep clean maybe antibiotic ointment. Not fun but should be fine in a few days.

If it's not large enough to require stitches then just apply some pressure until it stops bleeding. You might want to spread a little anti-biotic ointment (like neosporin) on it. A bandaid won't stick.


If you wear form fitting underwear, you can put a gauze pad in there to protect the cut and keep any fluids from ruining your clothes. It'll heal on it's own pretty fast.

Get your paper stapler out and throw in some staples in to hold the wound closed. Electric trimmers are not suitable any genital hair. They can't cut close enough without also cutting delicate skin.

Get it disenfected and try to not stretch it. Also try the least amount of 'movement'.

Not unless it gets infected. Or is gushing blood. Surprisingly the scrotum is not a highly vascular area. A doctor told me so. Don't ask how I know.🤫🤣
