Is it possible to be asymptomatic with 90-100% blocked arteries?

My grandma did an angiogram and discovered that one artery is 100% blocked and the other 95%. However; she never experienced any symptoms sujh as chest pain, difficulty breathing etc. In fact, she’s quite active at 70yrs old and all her blood work is normal, especially her cholesterol is good and her HDL is high. The doctor will advise what to do next, I’m worried but I was wondering If anyone experienced this or knows anyone who did? Thanks!

It's possible but remember she has 3 additional arteries for a total of 5. This is why when the do bypass surgery they cut an incision down the length of the leg and harvest veins to bypass those damaged arteries. Hopefully, she will only need a stent.

Many people will have a STEMI and never know they had any issues, yet there it is on the monitor ***STEMI and it is an express ride right to the catholic lab, no time to even say hello to all of the nice er staff.
Straight out of the bus, you are met by 1 or more and they get more info as you are wheeled in at a fast pace, then it is bright lights and cold steel.

Yep... I was 100% blocked when I had my heart attack. That obviously didn't happen all at once, but I never had signs earlier.

My grannies was blocked and neither the medical personall nor her noticed anything. She'd been even to the doctor's office on the day she died and the woman then had to come in later that night and pronounce her dead, apologizing to the whole glowering family. Take good care of your grandma and also get second opinions from a different doctor, just to be on the safe side.

I would assume it depends on which arteries are blocked. There are many of them and some are more critical than others.
