as someone who works in healthcare- men born male, no. menstruation is the process that a woman discharges blood and other materials from the lining of her uterus about once a month from puberty until menopause, with exception of pregnancy. men can experience testosterone hormonal fluxes but they cannot menstruate.

I know that some people think basic biological facts are fluid, but just because they say something is true, does not make it so.

If you don't have XX chromosomes, and a functioning uterus, you can't menstruate. Period. (Pun fully intended). No amount of "gender identity" can change basic biology.

The closest thing I can think of that would give the statment some validity is if we are talking about a menstrual cycle. As in, a recurring hormonal cycle.

As men we do not have a menstrual cycle. We do however, quite recently coming to light, have recurring hormonal cycles. Its not that mindblowing if a discovery that our bodies operate in a somewhat similar pattern between men and women and that just like women, men's hormonal cycles can make us sad, angry, horny and so on.

That's the closest thing I can get to it. The statement being an attempt to sensationalize the semi-new understanding of male hormonal cycles.

Critical theory relies on double entendre interpretations. When we read "man" in this sentence above we think of an adult human male. Since our biological reality, among other things, is being re-written by social constructionists there is one meaning of man - adult human male, for us, and another meaning of man - anyone who identifies as one i. e. critical theory.

You're being manipulated with language. We can translate this by saying; Female women who identify as men can menstruate, therefore we conclude incorrectly that men can mentruate. So when people read this they may think males are being referred to. Which is the whole point.

Where do people get this bullshit. No, men cannot menstruate. You need a uterus to menstruate. The word comes from "menses", which is the blood and other matter that comes from sloughing off the lining of the uterus, about once a month. Only biological females can menstruate.

The only people who can menstruate are people who were born with XX chromosomes and therefore have a uterous. Someone born with XY chromosomes can pretent to be a woman but never will be. You cannot change your chromosomes, and therefore cannot change your sex.
