What do you hate more: waking up with your period or getting it in the middle of the day?

I got it literally out of nowhere today while walking to precalc. My period was already late so the minute I felt something warm I was like “oh shit.”

I couldn’t use the bathroom to put a pad on till like an hour later bc my school is strict with bathrooms usage

No stains thank god. So annoying though bc I was worrying about it the whole time till I got to use the bathroom.

Getting it in the middle of the day because you don't know when you'll get it and then you are all bloody down there. In the morning is best because usually only a couple drops are on your underwear before you pee it out and you can put a pad on instantly. There is a lot less mess.
Once when I got it in the middle of the day i was wearing a dress and thongs and I bleed on the floor and on my thighs, even my toes got some blood. I was also at my boyfriend and it was awkward because periods don't usually leak on the floor XD

The funny thing is that i don't really, my period lasts only 2 days. But every drop of blood went tight through the G string thongs instead of being cought in the underwear 😅

waking up is better , it usually wakes me up in the middle of the night or early morning , sure it's annoying and u feel so tired to even get up but at least u can change and clean , i got my period once in class and thankfully it our break was right after this class , so i had to sit through the class ( i didn't ask to go to the toilet back then bc I felt shy , which is a big mistake bc it would cause stains but thankfully it didn't 💀)

I find it ridiculous how strict schools are with bathroom usage like it’s so sacred privilege that can’t be used too often or it will spoil. Y’all are humans and have basic human needs and going to the bathroom shouldn’t be regulated like it is this isn’t prison! Anyway sorry bout the rant it just drives me crazy.

That’s happened before to a kid in my class last yr. Was doing the pee dance and everything. Teacher still said no. You aren’t allowed to use the bathroom for the first and last 30 minutes of class no exceptions bc they’re worried about people skipping

I understand that’s the general rule but there are exceptions to every rule. If you trust your teacher I would suggest you you speak to them one on one and ask if you get your period if they can allow you to use the bathroom in an emergency. If they tell you no then you should talk to your parents because that’s too strict

Most of the teachers don’t like the rule either but it’s enforced by the principal and they can get in trouble if they have their kids out in the hall within those windows. Even if they do let u go there’s usually security that lingers around the bathroom and they’ll just yell at u to go back to class. I was thinking about emailing it talking to the principle about it earlier today because it was awful. I can’t imagine for people with gastro/urologic issues especially

For sure if the principal takes open feedback use your rights and let them know. As I said having strict rules serves a purpose but in an emergency the teacher should let you go. Then you can buy a few minutes ignoring the security. But hey I’m a guy so we don’t often think about when the period comes right?

There's nothing I hate more than being woken up to blood soaked sheets. But after years of having my period I know when it's coming, so I'll take the necessary precautions a day or two before so there's no unwanted surprises.

Hate when it randomly happens during the day its so inconvenient. In the morning it isn't so bad cause you just clean up, put on a pad/tampon and go about your day

i always get my period at the mall i'm just thst kind of girl if there's a nuclear war i bet it will directly hit my location or if there's a shark and there are 500 people i bet it would pick me.

Its better at night cause then you are home you can fix it although its annoying. But out its not much you can do.

I only hate it when I'm not ready for it to come. I track my periods so I'm usually aware of when it might come.
