Generally speaking, it seems to me that women in the past took more care of their weight than women do today.
Girls, don't take this personally, I'm just speaking generally.

I think it has a lot to do with nearly everything being super processed! If we ate like our great grandparents did we would be baking everything from scratch, churning our own butter, growing our own vegetables with out growth hormones and pesticides, we milk our cows and goats, we’d raise our chickens on grain we harvested. Even the fruit and vegetables we buy in the store have been mutated to be bigger and last longer and then there is sugar, it is in everything, all the way down to baby formula. Lifestyle is a factor too but I don’t think it’s the only thing to blame.
I agree. Too much of what we eat has been processed or "fortified", like cows' milk or white bread or cereals
I think almost everyone is just getting fatter.
I rarely see fat girls but it is without a doubt prevalent since women love to drink coffee drinks with syrups and sugary edibles as decorations and whipped cream or bubble tea (which contains even more sugar than the normal coca cola) and eat cakes and muffins. Human bodies are in tears from this sugary overdose.
The food industry is an uncontrollable mess and it abuses sugar, salt and fat to make revenue, so we buy their shit to put into our bodies.
People need to get back to most of their fluid intake being *water.* Ditching soda and tea and going to nearly-only water is what started my weight loss over this last year, and it's the first year in my life I've had a net-loss in weight. The only time I break that rule is when I eat out, which is like twice a year.
Humans (especially in modernized countries) are fatter than they were at basically any point in history bc we have bade life so easy for ourselves that we have become lazy and comfortable in living

It's not you. Women, men and children are fatter than they were 20 years ago. Processed foods, video games and social media are the primary causes.
Specifically westerners, or broadly those in developed countries, but Americans are perhaps the worst case example.
everyone is getting fatter yea, and its only gonna get worse :/
Yes. Men, too. Why is a much more complex question.
would depend , not unheard of for looks or trends to change over time. if it was more in to be thin 20 years ago it might not be a thing now i guess
We work a lot so people tend to taje the easiest path and get a lot of processed food.
Society in general is. So yes, that would include women as well.
Yeah probably. I not in on the fat side
Are you sure?
Lol I meant to write that I'm in the fat side
Now that seems right lol
