Do you smoke? Even though smokers know that smoking is harmful, they continue smoking? why?

Well, because it is harder to quit than heroin is.
The thing with anything you can get addicted to, don't ever start in the first place.
I ended up quitting when I had to stay in the hospital for months. And they don't allow smoking at all on any part of the premises.

They gave me the nicotine patches so I didn't go into withdrawals.

I was about 60ish. Then I picked them up during a very stressful time which was almost 2 years later. So, I've just quit again last October.

No I don’t. I think smokers keep smoking because humans always think “that’ll never happen to me”. They think they’ll never suffer any health issues caused by smoking or ever hear that they’re diagnosed with cancer due to years of smoking. Also it is very highly addictive and very hard to stop.

You will die when you die, sunny. Plenty of gym rats who never smoked got run down by cars and heart attacks.

You just leave a handsome corpse, from which rich smokers like me can get a fresh set of lungs, when we need them.

No, I tried it a few times when I was in high school and didn't like it much. Then I tried it again a few years later and I still didn't like it. Sometimes if I had to do an all night car ride I would smoke because I heard hat it kept you awake. It really did not help much.

i chainsmoke pretty much and have done for many years, yet each new one feels great.
No other pleasure has that quality,
I've been smoking since 16 or 17, im now 54 which qualifies me to say doctors are fullashit

I don't. People smoke out of addiction. The wife of one of my employees went though chemo and radiation for throat cancer in 2021 and early 2022. It got it all (so they say) Less than two years later she is back to a pack per day.
