Can you still drive if you break your right foot?

Are you not allowed to? I would think you just kind of move the bad leg out of the way and drive with the left. I sprained my ankle, so I've been driving with two feet lately just keep the the pressure off the sprained ankle since the brake always needs more force than the gas pedal, at least in both my vehicles. If you drive some luxury sedan, it's probably the opposite or the same, they don't take much effort

Yo dude, I think you'd technically be able to still drive with a broken right foot, but probably wouldn't be the safest or most comfortable option. Here's my thoughts:

- Using your left foot for both gas and brake takes some getting used to and isn't as precise. Could be risky in emergencies.

- With a broken bone, your foot is gonna be swollen and painful as hell pressed against the pedals. Not a fun drive!

- If it's a major break, you might not even be able to control the foot well enough to press the pedals fully.

- Cops might get sus if they pull you over and see a cast on - insurance probs wouldn't cover an at-fault accident.

My advice would be try to get someone else to do your driving for a bit til the foot heals up decent. Not worth stressing it or risking fucking up the break more. Rideshare, taxi, bus, or ask family/friends for help.

Otherwise maybe just short local trips if you really gotta get somewhere. But play it safe, feel me? Not worth re-breaking over driving when you don't gotta. Heal up right first!

I tried it a few minutes ago. Seems you would have to almost sit in the middle row to not have your right leg in the way. Man you're pretty well fucked if you break a right leg

But then again my ankle is sprained, so couldn't moved out of the way properly without moving it at an angle that hurt.

Yeah man, driving with a jacked up right foot is definitely no bueno. I can imagine trying to sit in the middle would be real sketchy too, probably wouldn't be able to fully see over the steering wheel! You're right, if you break your right leg you're pretty well screwed mobility-wise.

When I had my ankle sprain it was hella sore just trying to swing my leg out of the way while driving. Props to you for even attempting it, I woulda been cryin' after 5 minutes haha. Just ain't worth aggravating the injury, ya feel?

For real though, it really sucks being laid up without a ride. I'd be bored out of my skull just sitting at home. Maybe see if any homies can give you lifts while it heals up? Or if your parents could rack up some Uber points chauffeuring your ass around, spare you putting weight on it. Just don't let it get you down - once that ankle's good, you'll be back cruising in no time bro!

Depends on what vehicle you have too. If it's a truck that's slow af then you're probably alright. Some of these vehicles you'll be sideways in a ditch if you hit the accelerator too hard lol

Yo for real dude, the vehicle makes a huge difference when drivin' gimpy. Like if it was my mom's little Civic or somethin', no way I'd risk it with a blown leg. That thing goes zero to sixty in two seconds whether you mean to or not haha.

But if it was my boy's extended cab F150? I could probably manage rollin' around in that beast no problem. Those trucks are so sluggish you gotta floor it to gain any speed at all. I'd just chill in four-wheel most the time and take corners real gentle like.

Only other option would be hittin' up one of my friends with a van or SUV and just shove my busted ass in the passenger side. As long as they don't mind me stinkin' up the ride with my nasty leg lol.

Depends, i would assume you will have to take part of the guilt in an accident, even when you usually are innocent, as police will assume you could have prevent the crash with two healthy feet.

Also manual car would be much more difficult to drive with one foot.

If i had a broken foot or ankle or leg, i wouldn't risk it.

It's not a matter of being allowed it is an accident waiting to happen if you do that. Your reaction time won't be fast and you could crash and kill yourself or other people.

Just don't doit. It's not worth it.

The main thing is being able to hit the brake. To me a left foot on the brake is like driving a manual with no clutch. Lol

Bad idea. This is why I was thankful to break my left foot. I could drive no problem
